Into the pool house for more privacy

Hannah pulled the peppermint liquor away from Jenna after she begrudgingly took a few more swallows; the other girl gently brushed her hair as she coughed again, not used to the harsh biting feeling in her throat. "Shh, it's okay, it was just a little pick me up. I know you're probably nervous, you're always so jittery in class. Here, come with me."

She got out of the car, clearly expecting Jenna to follow. She tried to take a moment to recenter herself and figure out what she was doing, but before she could make any progress Hannah was at the passenger door, opening it and practically pulling Jenna out of the car so she could lead her away from the front door.

"Just trust me, okay?" Hannah told her with a smile as they went around the main house. She opened the gate leading to the outside pool, leading Jenna past a few of their classmates that were already swimming. They cheered as they saw new people but Hannah held up a hand to them casually, dismissively, as she took Jenna over to the pool house. It felt strange being so open at another person's house, just wandering around without even saying hi to the person that lived there, but Jenna kept following her as they went inside the smaller building.

The poolhouse was laid out like a proper house, just smaller, more cozy, with an open floor plan and tall windows that made it easier to watch what was happening outside. Hannah promptly closed the curtains on these, and Jenna could have sworn she heard a faint click - like she'd locked the door behind them. "I'm glad you finally let me drag you here," Hannah beamed, "you're cute, even when you're so obviously anxious all the time."

Jenna turned to face her then, face flushed from the drinking, her own awkwardness and more as the situation started to sink in.
