Intermission: The Princesses Night (Part II)

"Did... did he hold back your hair?" she asks, fearing the worst. If he takes this gesture away from her, then it means nothing to him. Finn loves these gestures and small signs that only the initiated understand. He calls that 'high diplomacy'.

"No, he didn't" Susan answers. "Megan said he was only holding your hair." She sounds almost sad, but for Millie it means the world. The girl is not used to having thoughts of such scope, let alone having to process them on her own. But even with her past and experiences, she understands that Finn has reserved this gesture only for his loved ones. Maybe I was wrong? she thinks and her heart becomes light with the thought.

"He said he should go back to you quickly and I should keep the two booze heads above the toilet." Claire blushes as she continues. "He undressed and said Megan and I could watch him but the others not."

"Why?" Millie is not so sad anymore. She realizes more and more what she seems to mean to Finn. It is clear that Megan is allowed to see him naked. But why in front of the others? And why was Claire allowed to… admire him? And why not the others?

"He said that because my sister and Denise got drunk, flirted with him and undressed in front of you, they didn't deserve to see him naked." Claire blushes and looks down. Millie looks around and notices that the other two look embarrassed too. Millie is the only one in the room with her head up, and she likes that. Her brother made sure that she was ahead of her friends, even over a period of one day and without being in the room himself.

"And why were you allowed to see him?" Her heart is pounding and she is afraid that the friends may feel her nervousness. But the rest are too tense for that.

"B... Because he meant..." Claire takes a deep breath and looks bravely into her eyes. "He thought I should see him because I was a... good girl." Clair almost sinks into the ground in shame, but Millie also sees something in her friend that she recently discovered in herself. Curiosity about what's coming. She also recognizes something new about herself. When she thought Finn didn't love her, she was ****. He only acted for her best. Millie looks at the other three girls and proudly recognizes that she is the one who can best cope with the situation. Her feelings are changed, the negative ones wiped away and the only thing that gnaws at her is the thought of having doubted Finn and his words. She saw him with this Emma. She seems to be a nice woman, but with her latest experiences Millie understands what Emma feels for Finn. And then it hits her: It doesn't bother her. Not in the slightest. Finn fell in love with her. Not Emma or her friends. Me! She doesn't care if others feel for Finn the same as she and Megan do. If he sleeps with her friends or Emma or anyone else, that's not love. She and Megan have it all to themselves. Finn tried to explain that to her at the lake. And the blush on her face now comes from the shame of not trusting him. Never again! I will never doubt him again!

And with that, all other bad feelings of that evening disappear and Millie notices something else underneath. Lust. She looks at the other girls, nervous and uncertain.

"Yes, Finn likes it if you obey him," she hears herself say. She keeps looking at three pairs of wide-opened eyes. Millie smiles.

"Do you always have to obey him?" Susan asks and it sounds angry. But when Millie thinks about it, she hears something else from her friend's voice. Curiosity.

"He doesn't **** me to do anything. Never, ”she says, and pride sneaks into her voice. “He sometimes seems strict and impatient because he knows what he wants. And he also knows what others want and need. I've never had to explain to him how I'm doing in my life. On the contrary. He often explains to me or Megan what we feel.” Her nose is raised.

"That sounds disgusting. He controls you.” But Susan does not have the conviction in her voice to prevail.

"No. He always does it very carefully. He often withdraws, even though he knows exactly what will happen. I can always rely on him, even if I don't always follow his advice. And if I then fail, he will still be there for me."

"I wish Susan was like that" Claire says coldly, and Millie is surprised that the sister is on her side. And she is surprised that Susan doesn't reply to that.

"He is the best person I know and the perfect big brother. Megan and I are so glad that he is there. I don't know what I would do if he were gone."

"You... said he was... strict?" Denise asks quietly without looking at Millie. She nods.

"At least to people who are against him or doing something that... what he calls it... morally corrupt me or Megan." Millie chuckles as Denise grimaces painfully.

"I'm sorry Millie that I behaved so wrong yesterday," she says. Why is she doing this?

"Oh, it didn't bother me. We sometimes have our differences. But Finn is taking care of me."

"Do you think he's mad at me, uh, I mean us?"

"You and Susan? I do not think so. You're not bad people.” Denise then becomes a little more cheerful. Millie is beginning to understand what this is all about. And when she weighs up her next words, she has no fear.

"We can go to Finn tomorrow morning and you apologize. I'm sure he doesn't see it that badly. Why so? Just because you behaved weird and undressed in front of him? Or he in front of you?” On the inside Millie grins devilishly when she says: “I've seen it all before.”

"You saw him naked?" Susan says, whereupon she quickly bites her tongue.

"For real? Like me?” Claire is now wide awake and Millie can see exactly how far her friends have come. She just shrugs.

"Of course. After all, we are siblings” she chirps. She notices the warmth in her crotch as she thinks about the night with her brother and the fact that she can have it as often now as she wants... or he. And she realizes that her friends want that too. Maybe Finn felt like me now? With me and Megan it must be the same for him. "I've seen him naked many times. There's nothing with it.” She waits a little and then adds another one. "We talked a lot too." Okay, she likes being superior to her friends. For Finn she will be the good little sister. She can do that best, Finn likes it and she makes it overjoyed. But tonight, a day after Finn became her boyfriend, she also wants to experience what it's like to be at the top. And she won't be disappointed because of him.

"How... How is he... Finn?" The question comes from Susan, but it doesn't really matter who asked it, because all three girls are now looking at Millie intently. The plans to go to the lake or into the city are forgotten. Everyone is sitting in their hammocks again, the light is dim and you can hear crickets chirping from outside. The air in the shed is warm and smells of wood.

"It's just great" Millie admits euphorically. “He is always there for me, is always on my side and supports me all the time. I can talk to him and he listens to me as long as I need it. He is never angry or annoyed and always takes time for me. And when he's not there, he leaves everything behind to come to me.” She knows that these are not the things her friends want to hear. But there are several reasons why she tells them anyway. First, because Millie wants the others to see Finn the way she does. Not just the wonderful thing between his legs but the most wonderful people she can imagine. On the other hand, also because she enjoys being able to direct the conversation.

"N-No, I didn't really mean that" Denise mumbles, who also asked the previous question.

"What do you mean then? Because that's the best thing about him” Millie grins back.

"Come on Millie. Don't be so mean to us." Susan sounds annoyed, but even Millie hears the nervous undertone in her voice. "Claire didn't want to tell us anything."

"He prohibited it Susan. I stick to it” Claire says and is proud of her duty.

"Do you want to know what Finn looks like... naked?" Millie asks as neutrally as possible. The room is flooded with 'yes' calls. Denise and Susan almost can't take it anymore.

"He's just a normal guy. I don't understand what you find so interesting about my brother” Milliesays and builds the tension even further. "After everything I've seen of him... and experienced with him, I can understand your curiosity..." She smiles impishly. "But he's still my brother."

"What have you experienced?" Susan asks without going into the argument.

Millie thinks for a moment what she's doing. Yes, it feels good to have Finn to herself. And she enjoys finally having the upper hand over her life after last year. Everything thanks to him. And now she drives her friends mad with her own brother, who has already slept with her. Is it right to go that far? And what would Finn say if he knew what she was doing? Yes, she would enjoy telling her friends about her experiences with her brother. She shares everything with them. But Finn is more important to her. She already wants to end the topic, then she comes up with an idea.

"What happens between brother and sister is only something that concerns them," she says with awe in her voice. "If I tell you, you owe me something." Millie is a little uncomfortable. Such plans are more the business of Finn, but she is not afraid. She knows that he won't drop her and she will apologize to him for questioning him.

The room is quiet for a while. The three girls look at Millie from their hammocks and also consider how far to go. Then they look at each other. First they giggle a bit embarrassed and wait for one to start. Because they all want to hear Millie talk about her brother. It is a silent contest who first gives in to his desires before Millie decides to end the conversation. Meanwhile, Millie feels more powerful than ever. She looks at Claire and Denise. Both expect the girl to give in first.

But it is Susan who finally says, "What do you want from us?" Millie triumphs and feels good. She will enjoy this evening, her birthday. And tomorrow she belongs in her brother's arms.

"Claire, tell us how it is for you to see my brother. And I'm especially interested in why you all adore him so much.”All eyes wander back to the girl and Millie is amazed at her power to be able to control her friends in this way. Meanwhile Claire turns red again. She doesn't know what to say. "You don't have to say anything, then we can go to sleep and..."

"No!" Claire puts her hands over her mouth. "I-It's okay. I'll tell you…” She takes a deep breath. "Well. The evening yesterday was really nice. I really enjoyed spending time with you girls. But when Susan and Denise started arguing about Finn, I was... I think I was disappointed. He had just run away with this Emma and you behaved as if he belonged to you alone” she says to the other girls. She frowns and looks concentrated on the ground. "When you got drunk and Finn came back, I thought your plan would work. I... was sad that he could like something like that.” Then she looks at Millie. "But when he brought the two in with me, I heard him speak to Emma. That she should take care of you. That made me even sadder.” She looks at Susan sternly. "I wish you'd take care of me sometimes like Finn did to Millie." In fact, Susan seems to be taken aback by the words because she looks at Claire guiltily. "Our parents are constantly arguing," Claire admits meekly.

"And it's always about us. We almost had to flee from home to get here” Susan agrees with her sister. "Claire, I know I'm not always a good friend for you." She sniffs lightly. "I have my difficulties in life too."

“But Finn can do it yet. Do you think he just do this just so easily? He looks after two people. We can't even do it for ourselves.” She shakes her head. "You needn't be just like him, but maybe you can talk to him? Maybe he has some tips for you?” Claire looks questioningly at Millie. It's an open secret that the McKinley family happiness hangs in the balance. "Millie was much worse off than we were and she did it. And there are two of us."

"I'm doing what I can. I'm only a year older than you. How am I supposed to know all this?” Susan sounds ****.

"I can ask Finn what he thinks of it," Millie suggests, and the two sisters smile shyly. "He will be happy to help you. I also don't know what I would do without him.” The argument is supposed to calm the two sisters, but it makes the conversation drift in another direction.

"We are always expected to be the perfect little girls," complains Claire. "Papa always expects perfect grades, perfect behavior and perfect manners."

"Sometimes when we see Finn whirling you around and lifting you up and laughing, it's really hard," Susan admits.

"And even if we do everything right, Papa always makes new demands."

"He never rewards you?" Millie asks incredulously. She just has to get a good laugh and Finn almost overturns with joy. "BB isn't anything like that."

"And the nicknames too!" Exclaims Claire. “We always have to call Daddy Father when we're in public. We always have to make sure that we represent the family and take care that we don't embarrass ourselves. But we never hear a 'thank you'."

"And when mom is on our side, they argue again. But when I see you... and Finn. Do you have to worry about anything at all?” Susan wants to know with a grimace on her face.

"I sometimes worry that Finn cares too much about Megan and me. But then he always says he's happy like that."

"Do you see?" asks Claire. "We want that too."

"None of us wish you what you experienced Millie." Susan nibbles on her lower lip and rolls around in her hammock. "But what you and Finn have is something we also want." In turn, she nods and Millie thinks about her situation. Yes, she did really well. If you knew how well indeed...

"I understand your problems," Denise says to the McKinleys. "My brother is always there for me." She sounds very proud when she says that and at first Millie thinks that she has someone in Denise who understands what she feels. She doesn't know her half-brother herself, but the stories remind her a lot of Finn. But she also recognizes how a shadow of doubt lies on her friend's face, which always appears when Millie talks about Finn. "But I wonder what you are doing so that he treats you like this," the Van Buren admits and looks thoughtfully at the ground. Finn really messed them up.

"Okay, I understand why you're so interested in my brother. Finn has a solution to all of my problems.” That's what she says to Denise. "I actually just have to be myself. The only thing he asks of me is that I should be happy. And if I can't do it, he'll be the first to take care of it. And he always puts me above himself.” That to Susan and Claire. "He's always worried when I have a bad day and tries to make me laugh." Talking about it makes the heart of Millie Lynchwood light as a feather. The picture of her brother in front of her can't help but smile. "But you also have to understand that he doesn't do it without a price. He doesn't ask me anything, but that's why I try to please him. Taking care of two girls is not always easy and he deserves a good little sister.” Inwardly, she wonders if she has gone too far. Even for her it is clear what her friends might feel for Finn. But she also admits that it turns her on a bit to know that she is above them and in his favor. And if Clair has spoken the truth, Finn likes to play with them. Should she really do that? Help her brother have fun with the girls?

First she wants to reject the idea. She loves Finn and wants him for herself and Megan alone. But then she thinks about what her sister said. Finn might think he had to hold back in order to please them. And Millie doesn't like the thought a bit. For what Finn has given her, she wants to give him something back. And that evening she has great power. What better way to use that power than to show your brother that Millie would do anything for him? Even get in other girls pants? She takes a deep breath.
