In The Beginning

"Now that we've gotten everyone here, I can't give the proper introduction." Cam said, barely audible over the cacophony of sound on the stage. Apparently, not one to wait, they simply snapped their fingers, the contestants' voices cutting off as they sat at attention, well, more or less.

"There we go, don't worry girls, you'll have plenty of time to air your grievances in just a few minutes, just let me go through our rundown first." Cam said calmly, rubbing her hands together.

"Welcome to the Harem Hotel, where we the people have you, the contestants, compete against each other for the place in our dear Master's harem." Not letting them speak, Cam continued, " now let's start with the basics. You'll live on site until the completion of our season, wherein you will compete in a challenge at the end of each week, to earn points that will ultimately decide your placement among the Harem diarchy." Cam explained, pausing as he spotted Kurumu with a raised hand.

Pointing at her, she felt her voice return, " I don't want to, I already have someone I love!" She growled.

"Yes, that's a common sentiment, unfortunately that doesn't matter, you've been chosen, so you have to compete, well you don't but I heavily recommend it. To incentivize cooperation, the girl who finishes at the top will not only be the defacto Queen/ wife/ matriarch of the Harem, but they'll also be given a wish." Cam explained as Mafuyu raised her hand this time.

"A wish, like a genie or a falling star?" She inquired.

"Yes, just like a genie or a fallen star," Cam glanced at Ai out of the corner of his eye, or blowing out birthday candles or breaking a wishbone, do people still do that? Anyways, you can wish for whatever you want, except to kill someone else or break your bonds with the Harem." Looking around several of the girls were leaning in suddenly. "You could wish to come back to life," Cam glanced at Ai, Daki, and Shalltear, "You could wish to bring a loved one back to life even. As many loved ones as you could think of. You can wish for wealth and fame beyond measure, to be Queen of the world, whatever you can imagine is possible, provided you win that is." Cam stated, most of the girls paying attention, although they still looked wary.

"Okay, now let's move on... I've told you what you're fighting for, let me tell you how to fight now. There's three point systems you'll need to pay attention to, VP, or Victory Points are how we grade your rankings week-to-week, BP, or Bonus Points are a form of currency while you're here, you can use them to buy things like clothes, food, or various Boons and Curses to help you in the game, and finally we have MP, you don't need t know about those, that's exclusively for our Master's use, although if you need to know, think of them like super BP." Cam explained as Ino's hand shot up, a frown evident on her face.

"You **** us to come, and make us buy our own clothes and food?" She sounded pissed, but she settled for glaring at the moment.

"Not exactly, I guess I'll go ahead and explain what I meant. All your belongings were brought with you, all your clothes, special items of interest, things like that, anything extra you can purchase with BP, and meals are provided, three times a day, but if you want a snack or something fancier, you'll pay for it. BP can also be used to access different areas of the Hotel, with a price that changes day-to-day, you can split the cost or go Dutch and benefit everyone, so keep in mind when to spend and when to save money." Cam explained as several more hands went up.

"How do we earn BP?" Pixie asked, a few other girls nodding.

"The easiest way is based on your rankings within the HHPP, or Harem Hotel Popularity Poll, you'll also be given a weekly allowance of 1000 BP, although you don't have a frame of reference for that, you can also earn it in other ways like completing a task or if I think you've done something to deserve it." Cam said. "No more questions about that, okay, let's move on, we still have the two or three big ones to get through."

"I mentioned rankings within the harem, I'll give you a better rundown really quickly so you can start strategizing. When the show concludes your VP totals will determine your placement within the harem proper, highest ranking gets the wish as well as another prize I'll get to in just a moment. Now every other girl will be placed according to their point total, more than 100 and you're guaranteed a good place with the Harem, think of them like the mistresses, not meant to be literal if you're into that kinda thing, next we have all the girls between 100 and 0, the Normies, not so good position, think of them like the retainers, and finally we have those who finish below 0, pay attention here, if you reach a Transformation Ceremony with less than 0 VP, even if it isn't the final one, you will be Eliminated, that with a capital E, essentially kicked out of the Harem, and given a Elimination Transformation." Cam exclaimed seriously.

Ty Lee was finally the one to raise her hand slowly, "Transformations? Those don't sound great."

"Right, I haven't explained Transformations yet, this is what happens when you do things out of order." Cam rubbed his hands together, "At the beginning of each week, we have a Transformation Ceremony where we, well, transform you, these Transformations can range from mental to physical to something extra, nothing is really off limits, but we try to keep them from getting out of hand, that's where the audience comes in, they vote in the Popularity Polls for 'Best Girl' and they vote for each girl's Transformations, so keeping a good report with the audience can make a difference if you want to avoid a certain Transformation." Cam helpfully explained.

"So, wait, you brought them here, and then you're going to change them?" Trevor asked, unbidden so he must not have been muted like the girls.

"Yes, it's all for you after all to make them more appealing to you, or to make their lives easier after the show, and it's not as if they're all bad, like I said we have a broad spectrum for Transformations, for turning Pixie into a real cat girl to making Mafuyu a real Magical Girl, we can make Ty Lee very flexible or just give Ino a permanent set of glasses, of course the opposite is also true, but nothing compares to an Elimination Transformation." Cam smiled as if that made everything okay.

Ai tentatively raised her hand across the way as Cam turned his attention to her. "Wait, so we don't have sex on camera?" She sounded scared of the answer, rightfully so, the other girls all turned to look at the Host.

"Not if you don't want to, but I suppose this is as good a time as ever to get into VP. While this is at its core a dating show, you can forsake all of that and reach the 100 VP goal by just winning challenges, but the climb will be tough, you can alternatively earn VP by reaching various 'milestones' with the Master. Groping, flashing, oral, sex, creampies, you get the point, each have a set VP value, the first girl to reach each milestone gets twice as many points, so consider that, also you might get more or less points depending on the circumstances, accidently flashing versus willing, loving sex versus hatefuck." Cam solemnly lectured.

Surprisingly, Daki put her hand up, a placid expression on her face. She calmly waited for her turn to speak, which is what caught Cam off-guard as she went straight into a vitriolic spiel, "There's no way in Hell I'm touching that bastard's tiny dick!"

"Thank you for that wonderful demonstration of how the game works Daki, I did you the service of not giving you the first-time bonus, else you'd be sitting at -12 VP, right now, not that it really matters, just gives you a final chance to redeem yourself. I mentioned if you reach a Transformation Ceremony with negative points, you'd be eliminated, and given that's in about a minute, things aren't looking great for you. So, I suppose my only real question is, are you going down with the ship or will you say sorry. Given your hatred, and the bonus, I should think that'll cover your mistake." Cam slowly approached the girl, who snarled at him.

"Go to Hell, I'm not playing your game you-you freak!" She spat as the Host loomed over her, casting her entirely in shadow somehow.

"No thanks, but by all means, please antagonize the being who literally pulled you out of Hell, brought all these girls from their own separate universes, some of them with their own Hells, a being who could twist and warp you with a snap, turn you into a whining little girl, those Elimination Transformations I mention, they're personally designed to be torturous, I think I know exactly what I'll do to you, your dear sweet brother's dying wish was that you'd grown up without him, I think we should see if your rottenness is nature or nurture, let's see if you're still such a raging bitch when you have no memory of him at all!" Cam dominated her space, his halo glowing bright enough to blind a normal person, and giving off enough energy that Daki was sweating, and she wasn't the only one, Kurumu was wincing in pain, as were Shalltear, Bambietta, and Ai, the holy light searing them by their natures as undead and demon, irrespectively.

And yet, Trevor noticed an eye open on one of the wings, staring at him, gesturing towards the nearly in tears Daki, "H-Hey, stop it, leave her alone. That's really cruel." Trevor's voice was barely a whisper, but Cam inclined his head all the same, like a bird as she pulled back, halo giving off a dull glow once more as they resumed their place in the middle of the stage.

"Okay, but she's still getting a Transformation when I'm done. Since the audience is here to see beautiful girls twisted up, I'll leave you girls with one final word of advice. I mentioned moving you across various universes, most of the time once the season ends, you'd all be put back together, but back in your homes. That's impossible now, 4 of you could reasonably fit together , Pixie could as well, plus or minus the Quirks, but Ino, Shalltear, Daki, and Ty Lee all come from vastly different worlds, Daki is a nonissue given her previous place of residence, but that still leaves you other girls, so the simple solution is... whoever wins will be returned to her home universe, with a few extras. So now let's get to the main event. Oh, but first..." Cam grinned almost kindly until their eyes opened.

Daki will be split into two entities, Daki & Ume, both will inhabit the same body, and be aware of the other, but no evidence will convince either one they are the same person. Daki will have no memory of her human life, and Ume thinks she was brought here after being burned alive.
