Giving a playful shake of your head you agree to whatever Sandra is thinking and look over at David and Vivian. “Come on you two, that's enough. Remember this is a PG rated game,” you joke, “everyone roll their Intelligence for an Awareness check.”

Dutifully, everyone rolls their favorite d20, though Vivian sputters a last few words which only pleases David even more. Though Sandra, David and Saul all fail their rolls, you announce publicly to Brian and Vivian that a large cohort of guards are closing in and are right around the corner.”

“How many and what are? What are their arms? And are they in light or heavy armor?” The tactically minded Saul asks.

“You failed your roll, so you don't exactly know with this group.” You answer. “However, the standard attire for the majority city watch you have seen is leather armor and a club, though you have notice a few in mail with swords and/or crossbows.”

“Any chance we can reason with them?” Sandra asks. After having her make a City Lore check you tell her, “The justice system of the Mad Overlord is know to be swift and brutal, but surprisingly not that corrupt.”

“If we get arrested . . .” Vivian mutters at David under her breath.

“I've got the fastest Movement Rate, so I'm good.” David smiles.

“The guards are coming?” You state quickly, not letting Vivian respond. “What are you going to do?”
