I was Left Naked

The voices became four young nurses, one blonde and the other dark haired. I planned to get what was left of my gown after they passed. Then my heart fluttered when they slowed down and one of them pulled the paper gown out of the door, ripping it even more. Another nurse used keys to open the door and removed the rest of the paper gown that was my last shread of clothing. She glanced around and saw no one was inside. Then she locked the door back. I watched as the blonde nurse wadded up my shredded gown into a ball and head further along the hallway in my direction. Then a pager when off and one of the nurses looked down at it and the next instant all four took off running back where they came from taking the only covering I had in the world. After the noise of their scramble died down, I could hear the nurses station behind me as they chatted among themselves. I peeked around the corner and I saw a waiting room filled with people. Ladies holding their kids and women reading magazines. I knew I could not stay where I was or I'd be caught naked. I saw a stairway door about fifty feet further down the hall and decided to get there as soon as I could get up the nerve.
