Hunting with Kylie

I decide to go on a hunt. Kylie seems thrilled about my answer.

“We might hold the fort here, Kylie and Alex.” Virginia says. I nod at her. Since she and her sister are humans, Sam is a Lycan and Daisy is a witch, it would make some sense that only vampires hunt.

“I’ll protect our home as usual.” Xavier adds.

“Is it going to be just us?” I ask Kylie.

“We have a friend joining us, but he will come back later. His name is Mindaug.” Kylie says. Wait, Mindaug, the Lycan leader in the school?!

“I know him. He had a feud with the Bloods. I thought he died in the siege.” I reply.

“You’ll be surprised how ‘Lords of the Night’ survive. He will explain when we meet him.” Kylie says. She gets her armour equipped and clips her chest plate in place. She must need that armour or something or she is heavily out fashioned.
