Chapter 15
by outa
You ask Tritera about herself
How did she find out she was a sorceress
Jessica : "So Tritera Knightly, how did you find out you were a sorceress?"
After all the indignities you've faced today it's her turn to flush deep crimson, which immediately told you at least the broad strokes of the process. You start giggling at her reaction. giggling? You've never giggled before...
You expected her to refuse to answer, as every girl you ever knew growing up would have. But to your surprise she starts telling you the story.
Tritera : "So I was living in Argnold. It's a proper city on the Lyre river near the Drake mountains. Like most people in the city, my parents worked in the business of getting the ore from the mountains onto barges to send down river where it is refined into metal and then shipped around to supply most of the Garton kingdom."
Of all of these places the Garton kingdom was the only one you were aware of, knowing only that they were vaguely far north of where you grew up and on good terms with your people.
Tritera : "Anyways my father worked in the shoreman's guild which mainly handled the laborers that took the ore from the tracks coming out of the mountain and physically packed it onto the barges. He grew up doing the labor and eventually his back gave out. The guild takes care of their own and he ended up taking a role training the local boys up for the job. It's hard work and the guild treats them like treasured equipment, feeding them well and honing them. I'm talking a hunk factory."
Tritera's mouth is practically watering thinking about these guys.
Tritera : "Anyways I was pushing up on marrying age and dad had me supervising some of the guys who were all but guild members while he whipped the newest recruits into shape across town at the tracks. In hindsight I think he knew what he was doing, marrying a guild's man was a good life for a woman in Argnold and he must have known Kriton was interested in me. Kriton wasn't just a guild man but a man with promise to move up and my dad would have helped him if we'd been wed."
Tritera : "But at the time it felt like rebellion. As soon as dad was out of sight he was promising me the world and I was willing to take far less from him. One thing led to another and he was giving me what I wanted most."
She was grinning even with her crimson cheeks.
Tritera : "We thought we were clever, the ore comes in these big crates that go back and forth from the mountains, easily big enough to do the deed and his friends were discreetly playing lookout. It all would have worked out and I'd probably be the wife of a man high up in a powerful guild. Except that a few minutes into it after the preamble was done and he was really starting to take what he wanted he found this angle and I lost all control. Between me, him, the lookouts and several nearby townsfolks I was the last to know that the container we were in was floating three feet in the air and vibrating."
Tritera starts laughing about this and you can't help but join in. You feel something else too though. You'd never heard a woman talk so lustily about sex before, it's simply not something proper women said in your small farming community. The smallest splinter of curiosity was working its way into your mind, through all your defenses.
Jessica : "What happened next?"
Tritera : "Oh daddy hushed up the controversy, some story was made up about me inspecting the crate when I became enraged about it's low quality. I don't think it fooled all that many people but it was official and that was enough for most. The guild came by that very evening and whisked me off."
After you finish dinner you decide
The Wizard's Guild
Magic costs you more than you ever imagined
You find that you've been endowed with magical powers but they'll cost you your manhood.
