"Alright then" said the thin man. "But here are the rules. We play til closing. No quitting early. We'll let you trade IOU's for chips. But anyone who wants can buy one and turn it in whenever they want. I'll be fair for pricing what you want to offer but I'll do the pricing and no offering trying to end the game early. Lastly, we're betting drinks on every third hand. Losers pay and winners choose who drinks. This'll be a drinking hand too."

Seleste paused for a moment before nodding. After all, there wasn't a man who could normally best her at cards. She started by writing an IOU for her robe and boots knowing they were worth something and hoping to quickly make enough in the first couple hands to buy back the IOU's and not have to worry about anymore of them as the thin man passed her a small pile of chips.
