Homecumming Day 5: TGIF

TGIF Leah thought to herself as she woke up Friday morning. There was no particular dress up day today besides school spirit. She could wear blue jeans and a "Cougar Pride" shirt. She slept in just a little bit extra after hitting her snooze button before getting ready for school.

The day went by as expected. Chaotic. She had planned a test for that day but turned it into a quiz with a film to follow. Anything to keep the students remotely quiet and attentive. The week long "Freak Week" as it was known was coming to a close. The football game and Homecoming Dance would be the grand finale. Leah still hadn't "volunteered" to help at the football game and she knew she was supposed to help work the dance. She checked her email and saw which slots were open for volunteers still.

Leah should have responded sooner to get an easier job. But she had been very very busy this week. She noticed two slots were open.

The concessions stand was open and she saw Daniel's name next to it.

The Front Ticket booth was open. No one else had signed up for it. But she knew she would see most of the staff coming through that area.
