His Father

"Hello?" Spencer answered.

"Hey Son." His father replied. "Just calling to say that we've arrived just fine."

"Hey Dad. How was Europe?"

"Absolutely stunning. Don't think I can pick a favorite place to be honest."

"You take many photos?"

"We sure did. Can't wait to show you. Anyway, how was Christmas?"

"Yeah pretty good. Geoff and Abigail were over, and yeah... All good."

"And how's Amy?"

"She's great."

"She there or is she at school?"

"She started school today. Listen I've got something to tell you."

"What is it?"

"I've met someone."

"Oh. Like a girlfriend?"

"Yeah. Danielle's her name."

"How long have you been seeing each other?"

"It'd been about two months now."

"Well, we'd love to meet her."

"Do you think you'll be coming around anytime soon?"

"Actually that's a good point. We're not doing anything this weekend if that works for you?"

"It sure does."

"Alright, I'll see you then."

"Is mom there?"

"Uhh, she's resting right now. We might call you later when Amy's back home."

"Fair enough. Anyway, see you soon."

"Sure. See you."

Spencer put his phone away, and looked to Dani, who said "Who was that?"

"My Dad. He and Mom are back from the trip."

"Great. Anything else?"

"They'll be this weekend."

"Well, can't wait to meet them."
