Who's getting the book?
Himiko Toga
Nationally known villain and member of The League of Villains, Himiko Toga wanted for very little. Just a free life: no hiding her nature behind a crafted mask of civility; she wanted simply to do what she pleased, without a society of hypocrites forcing her to be who she wasn't.
The young bloodsucker knew that most people thought she was creepy. Even her own parents... To be herself; it had meant walking a path alone. The League, however, had embraced her with open arms and shared her desire for a truly free society. She was grateful to have found such a family.
That being said, Toga thought that their dream was a little ways off. She hoped for a more big social change.
They were operating from their headquarters, a quiet bar, which had a few rooms to provide someone with acceptable lodgings. Toga gathered that Shigaraki and Kurogiri basically lived here and, since Toga had been getting by on the streets before this, she took advantage and has been sleeping at the bar, too, when she could.
That was where she was at the moment, chillaxing in her small room, phone in hand, scrolling mindlessly. Cautious as she was, she did risk taking a trip to social media and looking up a few "friends" of hers.
Tsuyu Asui didn't post many selfies and only posted things that interested her, like horticulture and cute pictures of frogs, but Toga enjoyed her commentary and reading through the girls thoughts. She'd make a really good friend, Toga opined, fantasizing about hanging out with the frog girl and becoming inseparable.
He he, Tsu is such a cute name.
The blonde villain gushed, moving onto her other heroic bestie, Ochako Uraraka. Her feed had so many more adorable selfies and group shots. Toga took the time to scroll through all of the new ones, thinking about how great it would be to _be _in those pictures too.
Ochako is so beautiful. Becoming her is the best feeling.
Of course, she had to find her current fascination. Izuku-kun.
Just thinking about his battered and blood-covered body was already getting her excited and she started rolling in her futon.
She checked out his social medias and, alas, he hadn't posted anything from last time.
Poor Izu, Toga whined, He doesn't post much, does he?
She instead went to the feed of each of Izuku's fellow students, and scanned for photos that they had posted, featuring the green-haired boy of her dreams. There were actually quite a few; most of which were selfies of themselves, with Midoriya in the background, lying bandaged in a hospital bed.
If only Toga and Midoriya could hang out together, she would take as many photos of him as she could and consider each one a treasure. She may also get more of his yummy blood...
Slowly letting out a held-in breath in a drawn out sigh, Toga put her phone away dismally.
She was more than aware that these were just far-off fantasies of a farcical, imaginary reality in which Toga would ever be accepted as anything other than an malevolent, creepy, creature of nightmares. She was a villain that wanted to suck the blood of those she loves: these heroes would never accept her. Not with society as it is now.
Maybe never...
Toga honestly hated the cards she had been dealt. She never hated herself; far from it: it wasn't her fault for having a quirk and desires that society couldn't accept.
The fault lay on all those people that demand she be anything but herself to be accepted. It's easy to say, "fit in" or "don't be weird" when you're normal or you have a cute, affable quirk. Not when you're her. The heroes. The media. Her parents. It was them that needed to change.
Upsetting herself was not getting her anywhere.
Deciding that she better get up and rejoin her fellow villains in the bar, Toga's feline eyes caught sight of something next to her futon. A dark, rectangular object. Inspecting closer, Toga picked up an old-looking but ornate book, with a decorated marron cover and gold-coloured pages.
Toga hadn't noticed this when she had entered and she was good at spotting things like that. There was no way that this had just apparated right next to her as she was scrolling on her phone, was there?
Flicking the book open, starting from the right side toward the left, she found that the book was entirely blank up until the very last (first) page. However, the text seemed to be written in English, which Toga needed a bit of time and Google Translate to decipher.
Write reality to your liking and it will be so.
What did that mean? Toga assumed that she had translated it right.
This must be one of those inspirational notebooks they sell as bookstores, Toga reasoned, Ones with semi-uplifting quotes in them. It must be for you to write your dreams and ambitions into.
Writing can change the world, huh? Yeah right.
Still, may be fun.
Does Toga write anything into the book?
