Hidden Rooms

We look at the wall and I start feeling it. I can feel the mana in it and walk down the wall. Once I walk a few feet down the mana changes. It doesn't feel like the mana that the Ruins walls are reinforced with. Instead it feels like normal stone that was transformed into a wall.

"Hey Luna, can you step back?" I ask and she walks behind me. I place a Explosion mark on the wall and back up before activating it. Once the dust fades away it reveals a secret room.

"Alpha! You keep getting cooler and cooler!" Luna says excitedly and hugging me. I smile and the two of us enter the hidden room. It's small, about a fifth of the room before and the only thing in here is a small staircase leading to a chest against the far wall. We approach it and look for a lock.

"Doesn't feel trapped." I say after touching it and letting my horns and Mana Sense skills examine it. Luna open it and starts cheering excitedly. I look in and see a pair of dark grey clawed gauntlets inside. I use Observe on them as I take them out.

Wolf Kings Gauntlets Lvl 40, Legendary

These Gauntlets were worn by a Wolf beast man in the Lyna wars. He led a group of very talented beast men and tried to use the war to free beast men. While he ultimately failed he did leave a great impression of what beast men are capable off. The gauntlets were forged by dwarfs through unknown means and with unknown materials. They deal 300 - 320 melee damage. Requirements: May only be worn by a Beast Man. Hidden Properties: raises the wielders Beastial power, causing their already heightened instincts and Beastial abilities to increase.

"Here Luna, only a beast man can use these." I say handing them to her. She smiles and quickly puts them on. She opens and closes her fists and slashes the air with her claws.

"I love them!" She says hugging me again. I pet her and we move on to the next room. We go down two rooms slaying four golems, getting 800 Exp and 422$, and turn right. We find ourselves back at the entrance and one more golem stands there. We slay it quickly, getting 400 Exp and 201$, and Luna asks why it's here if we were already here.

"They could respawn. The monster's are made of the Ruins mana and guard the place so the Ruins could remake them. That's why we can only rest in the safe zone." I answer partially guessing and she nods. "Anyway the Ruins first floor seems to be in a 3 by 3 grid. So all we have left is the boss room."

"Yes!" Luna cheers excitedly. I take a look at our mana and health and see we're both almost full on both.

"Our mana and health are almost full, should we try fighting the boss?" I ask her and she immediately turns to me excitedly before stopping herself. She thinks about it for a moment before taking a deep breath.

"Yes. We handled the Mini Boss well and we'll need to do this eventually." She says proudly and we walk to the remaining door. There isn't anything special about this door. I touch the darkness and it fades away revealing an empty room with a massive circular dip in the center of the floor. We enter and the door shuts behind us.

"Cast your enhancements." I tell her while casting Ancient Beastial Strength. She nods and I see her mana bar tick down. I look around but don't see anything.

"Above us!" Luna shouts and I look up. I see a blue green creature somewhat resembling the Wyvern I fought. It has scales covering it with feathers around its wings that end in sharp claws. I use Observe on it while it jumps off the roof.

"How's it look?" Luna asks me while it spreads it's wings. It seems to be incapable of flight but is able to glide with its wings.

"It has 4000 health, the Minotaur had 2500. But it doesn't have a sword so for now let's keep our distance and wait for an opening." I say quickly and cast Demonic Flare onto our weapons. She nods and we run in opposite directions as it lands a few feet in front of where we were. It roars loudly and turns to Luna. I quickly take out my horns and Multicast Demonic Flare at it to get its attention.

The Drake turns to me and charges me. I easily dodge its charge and feel it begin to charge some mana in the ground beneath it. I jump backwards just as spikes start shooting from the ground in front of it and going towards me. It roars in frustration and charges me again. This time I'm ready and when it gets to me I Blink onto its back. I run up to its head trying to stab it but it try's to shake me off by wiggling and I feel it charge up mana. I decide to just get a hit off here and jump off right as a stone ball flies past where I just was.

I smile seeing Luna attacked it while I distracted it. The two of us put some distance between it and start talking.

"It attacked from the wall just now." Luna says pointing to the wall on my left. Sure enough, I see a hole missing the same shape and size as the one that barely missed me.

"So it can attack from a distance and up-close using the ground and walls. Then I'll keep it distracted. I'll can Blink away if need be so keep an eye out for any openings." I say and she nods. We split away again and I shout at the Drake getting its attention. It turns to me and jumps. It gets pretty high, at least half the rooms height. I cast Explosion a couple time and Blink away before it lands. I activate the marks right underneath it.

Luna jumps out of the dust cloud and runs next to me. Partially because she's here and I feel like showing off, I wait until the smoke clears. It charges me and I wait until it's about ten feet away before casting Dark Chains and Vine Trap on it. I then cast Ancient Beast Slash and hit it head on, with it unable to move.
