Are Awsome

We pull apart and I store the Crystal Heart, which is about as tall as Luna, in my inventory. We look around and see the circular dip and a nest that I didn't see before. The nest is made of stone, vines and grass and is in the shape of a birds. We walk up to it and quickly see three things inside. The first is another lever, second is a leather book, and finally we see a bunch if bright blue and green colored scales. I gather the scales and Observe them and the book.

Rock Drake Scales(21) Legendary Crafting Material

These scales were shed by a Rock Drake. This particular Drake was found within Ruins making these scale stronger than normal. They are both tough and durable, causing them to make great armor or weapons. They still contain the Drakes natural affinity for Earth magic.

Empty Tome Common

This small leather book is used in making Spellbooks. In order to be filled a Sensor must use their powers to place the magic inside. Then the Spellbook will be created.

"What are they?" Luna asks after seeing my smile.

"The scales are an amazing crafting material and the book is an empty Spellbook." I answer.

"An empty Spellbook? Is that good?" She asks confused.

"Yes, remember how I said I can teach you Ancient Beast Magic? I'll need a Sensors help but I can place the magic within this and then you can read it, learning the magic within." She looks at me with wonder and excitement.

"Let's go get Liz!" She says about to run off but I stop her.

"No. She and the guilds need time to process the events of late. But I promise, as soon as I can I'll get Liz to help me with this." She looks at me disappointed before sighing.

"Okay." I pet her before I pull the lever. The circular dip in the ground opens up revealing a spiral staircase going down. "Are we going down?" Lina asks eagerly.

"Sorry, no. It's almost three. We'll come back soon though. I promise okay." She nods and we start leaving. We get to the entrance without issue and go back. We appear back in the apartment and I see the mess is all clean. We change back into our normal clothes and leave. I lock the door behind me and we go back down the elevator. While she doesn't freak out again Luna holds me tightly while we descend. We leave the apartments without running into anyone and go home. Once we're about halfway I get a call from Asami.

"Hey Asami, what's up?" I ask after answering.

"Hey Eric, are you two still in the Ruins?" She asks.

"No, we left a bit ago. We're about halfway home now, why?"

"Someone from the guilds is here for you. He said his name is Scott and he's here to take you to a meeting. He also apologizes for any inconveniences this causes."

"Okay, tell him I'll be there soon."

"Okay, I'll see you soon." She says before hanging up.

"What did she say?" Luna asks me and I tell her while we walk. We get back and I see Scott standing by the jeep waiting for me.

"Hey Eric, sorry for this but we need to hurry." He says and I nod.

"Okay, Luna I'll be back later." She nods and hugs me before saying bye and going up the stairs.

"So Scott, do you know what were going to be talking about?" I ask him hoping to form a bit of a plan before entering.

"No, I'm not a Lyna so I don't take part in them. I just keep an eye out for natural Dungeons and help out however else I can." He replies with a smile. I nod and we spend the rest of the drive in silence. We get to the joint guild hall after a few minutes and he parks. I get out and he leads me down the halls. We pass the meeting hall and I ask where we're going.

"I'm sorry for this but Kallen wanted to have another spar with you. He said to test your Devil powers but not much else. Although I think he might be a bit mad you're dating his daughter. Oh and I was told not to tell you."

"It's fine and this is better than I feared so I'll take it." I say and he opens a door. On the other side is an arena. There's a dirt field about twenty feet wide in a circle. Walls surround it and above this are a few benches stretching around. I see Kallen in the field and Kagiyama, Sugano, Hino, Myla and Liz up in the stands.

"Eric." Kallen says not sounding mad or anything but not in his normal voice either. "We are going to spar again."

"Sure, but can I ask why?" I say and Scott walks behind me and appears in the benches a few moments later.

"We need to check something. You're a Devil now, that means you can go join the others. That and given the fact that they want something from you, if it's not Zeferon, you'll probably be warmly welcomed. So we need to see if we can handle you should that happen. But don't worry, I won't kill you." He answers and I sigh. This is what I feared. If I hold back they'll know but if I go all out I'll reveal too much.

"Okay, let's do this." I say swapping to my armor. I see Kallens surprised face at seeing my new armor. He nods and creates a light in his hand. He pulls a sword out with his other. The sword has runes carved into its blade and vines along the hilt. I hear someone else start talking.

"The rules are simple. Get your opponent to yield or make them unable to continue combat. Start on the count of three. One... Two... Three!" I hear Liz shout. Kallen stands still waiting for me to attack. I take a deep breath and cast Ancient Beastial Strength. I step forward slowly, trying to plan my next move. I can't think of any plans that will work, since I don't know what his powers are. So I just charge him and decide to improvise. He dodges my attack and swings down on my exposed back. I'm bent forward and I reach out my right hand. I put it under my left arm and cast Thunder.

He jumps back, expecting more but is shocked when I don't follow up. I ready my blade and he says something that makes me panic.

"Why aren't you using your horns or wings? They'll surely help you." He says and I remember how my wings are now made of Annihilation Energy, not fire.
