He dodges by putting some distance between us. I try again and he does the same. So that's it. They want me to attack so they can see what I'm capable of. Okay then, I'll show you some of what I can do. I cast Demonic Flare onto my blade and Blink to Kallen. I cast Dark Chains on him, but purposely exclude his arms. He blocks it with his blade and I pull back. I cast Flame Pillar while he's still stuck in my chains.

Kallen swings his sword at the ground and destroys the chains but not the fire.

He jumps out of the fire and I quickly hit him with my blade.

He swings his blade at me and I try to dodge. I fail and it cuts through my armor and into my shoulder.

Holy shit the pain. Jesus fuck! Not trying to kill me my ass. I Blink away and he jumps back. I cast Healing Hands on myself.

I try to cast another but Kallen appears in front of me in an instant. I Blink away and he looks at me. Was that teleportation!? He wasn't that fast before! Did he use a scroll or can he do that now? He uses Light magic, I think, so can he move as fast as light? If so how. It must have some drawback. Either high mana cost or something else. My thoughts are interrupted when he does it again. I quickly swing at him and he blocks it. He vanishes and I see a image from Clairvoyance showing him with his blade sticking out of my chest. I quickly duck and turn around, avoiding the attack. I swing at him and he vanishes again. I see another image and Blink away without looking at what it is. My thoughts start racing as I think of what to do. Suddenly I get another image and panic. I cast Annihilation Energy and create a cocoon around me.

I keep the cocoon up for a few moments until my mind catches up and I realize what I did. I drop the spell and see Kallen looking at me in disbelief. His left arm is covered in the Energy and its constantly moving. I look at it and manipulate the energy to disperse. It vanishes immediately and leaves behind a dark grey mark, almost like burns. I look at him and use my horns to feel the others behind me for any movement. I feel my mana start to strain under the stress and panic I'm feeling.

"Calm down Eric." I hear Liz say. "We just needed to push you this far, so sorry." She continues and Kallen drops his sword. Despite this my nerves don't calm and I feel my mana strain even further. "It's okay Eric." She says again and I notice now that I've dropped my sword and raised my claws.

"Sorry Eric. But like she said we needed to push you to the edge. We needed to see if yo..." his voice trails off. I look at him but still see his mouth moving. He stops and quickly backs up suddenly. I feel the mana behind me change and turn around. I see Liz and my body moves on its own. I swing down on her with my claws before I can think. Kallen appears and grabs it, stopping me. Liz presses her hands against me and I feel my wings come out. I flap them harder than I thought I could. I quickly hit the ceiling and start falling. I spread them out and start to hover. What am I doing? Everything feels weird. My mana feels like it's on a rampage. Why did Liz try to touch me. I felt her mana change, was she trying to cast a spell. Why? And what one? Is she attacking me? Do I need to attack her? But why? I needed her help to teach Luna the magic. Why would I attack her? Why do I want to attack her. Why do I want to attack the others? I don't know. I'm so tired. Should I take a nap? That sounds good. But what about them? Kallen almost killed me multiple times. Should I kill him? If I do I can nap safely. I let myself fall and crash on the ground. I see Kallen, Liz, Sugano and Kagiyama. Good, this'll be easy. I raise my hand and get ready to cast Annihilation Energy and send it to them. I see Kallen suddenly appear on my left holding Liz and move my arm. Before I can cast the spell I feel something hit my arm. I look down and see it's been cut off. I see my arm falling to the ground and see my other arm. I see a Ancient Beast Slash on my right that my other arm just cast. Huh? Why did I do that? They're my enemies. I need to kill them. I ne... My thoughts end as I lose consciousness. The last thing I see is Liz looking up at me, with her palms placed on my chest.
