What's next?
Her first time as Laney.
Author's note: My additions to this branch take place in the same universe as my "The Good Guy" branch. You won't need to have read it follow this one, but they will overlap.
“Come on, Laney.” The guy she had met at the park, Matt, told her, “It’s just up here.”
Holly pointed at the very obvious yellow bar with the words Restricted Access: alarm will sound written on it.
“Don’t worry, it’s easy to bypass.” Holly watched as her "date" reached up and covered a sensor with a flap of duct tape that was hanging there, apparently for that exact purpose. He had a nice enough smile, and had been a gentleman so far. If this was a real date Holly would be having a good time. As it was, she was horny as hell and she just wanted to get this over with. She hadn’t expected to walk a mile into the city and end up on the penthouse floor of one of the tallest buildings in the city.
“Are you sure it is okay for us to be up here?” She asked, pretty sure she already knew the answer.
“We come up here all the time, on smoke breaks or just to get away from the drama.”
That wasn’t really an answer, but Holly wasn’t going to walk away at this point, she’d risk a trespassing charge to get her curse dealt with for the day.
He led her through the poorly alarmed door and up a flight of stairs to the roof. Holly’s breath caught when they exited the stairwell. They were high up. Very high up.
“This is where the window washers go.” He said, looking perfectly comfortable despite being like, 30 floors up and in open air.
“You want to look over the edge?” He asked with a grin.
“No!” Holly blurted out. She stayed close to the wall, the view was incredible, but the ledge was only 15 feet or so from the wall. The wind was pretty strong too. “How high up are we?”
“It's right around 500 feet. I’m sorry, do you want to go back inside?” He asked.
“I’m not scared of heights, just not used to this.” She replied, gesturing to the view. Of course it was easier to not be afraid knowing that her curse would do everything it could to prevent her from falling off the building. She briefly wondered how it would save her if Matt tried to throw her off.
Matt took a blanket he had grabbed from the stairwell and laid it on the roof, then sat down. He started talking about the office in the building he worked at while he finished school. He was acting like they were on a real date, getting to know each other. Holly thought she had been very clear what this was, but it looked like she’d need to remind him. She stepped onto the blanket and slipped out of her black dress.
“Fuck.” Matt said, staring at her in just her black, lacy panties.
“That’s the idea.” Holly said as she knelt beside him and started undoing his belt. Matt pried his eyes away from her tits long enough to take off his shirt while she undid his pants. He was in pretty good shape, he looked good. Not that it mattered, she wasn’t here because she liked this guy. She was here for the curse. She was here because she was the first born of the first born. She was here because a witch 400 years ago decided to fuck over her life. A bit of anger rose up in her chest, and she pulled Matt’s pants off aggressively.
“Damn, Laney you don’t waste time, do you?” He asked. Holly didn’t answer.
He laid down and she ran her hand over his chest, her nails scratching him lightly as he pulled off his underwear. She was glad he was putting her on top, the roof was coarse and the blanket, while surprisingly clean, didn’t do much to soften the concrete. Matt seemed like a decent guy, it would be nice if that mattered. It’s not like there would be a second date.
He was average enough in size, and he got hard quick. Holly looked him over as she pulled off her panties and he put the condom on. She kind of liked the way he looked. He wasn’t gorgeous, her friends would say Holly was out of his league, but he had a nice smile and he was in pretty good shape. As she climbed on top of him and lined him up she realized that he reminded her a bit of Maisie’s boyfriend. Well, before the whole master thing and the changes that went with it. Now he was. . .
Holly stopped herself, she wasn’t going to think about Maisie’s boyfriend while she fucked this random dude. Turned out Matt wasn’t bad at sex either. He was paying nice attention to her breasts, not just grabbing and squeezing, he at least knew a bit about how to touch a woman. She hadn’t been riding him for long before she started feeling the buildup, the tension, her release approaching. She looked away from him, out over the city, it was a beautiful view.
“Fuck, Laney!” Matt cried. She felt the pulse of his shaft, the warmth as the condom filled. She felt the curse-driven lust slide to the background, even without her own release. She pulled off of him slowly and grabbed her underwear. Put them on as Matt dealt with the condom and cleaned himself up.
“You okay?” he asked as she was slipping her dress back on.
“I’m good.” She answered. Her curse was dealt with, that’s why she was here, that’s why she came up here with him. He didn't have any further value to her.
“Did you? I mean, I can go down on you if you want.” Matt offered.
Ha, no. Holly thought, she hadn’t orgasmed, but she got the curse dealt with, that was all that mattered.
“I’m good, really.” She said, finally looking back to him. His face was a jumble of feelings. Feelings she wasn’t going to start caring about.
Holly took a few steps, knelt down near the edge of the roof, leaned forward, her hands holding onto the last inches before the edge, and she looked.
It was dizzying, seeing the drop. She’d been higher than this, on roller coasters or the hot air balloons her grandparents used to love going on rides in. But this was different. Her face over the edge, nothing there, just the drop. If it wasn’t for the small ledge she could lie down flat and hang off. Holly didn’t feel afraid, she felt the rush of the dizzying height, but she also knew she wouldn’t fall. The curse wouldn’t allow that. She was the Purest Peterson, she wasn’t in any danger.
“Laney, are you sure you are okay?” the guy asked her. He was beside her, his hand on her leg, lightly gripping her like he thought she might slide off the roof.
Holly smiled. “Yeah, I’m okay. Let’s head back down.”
She took a last look out at the city before re-entering the building, ignoring the story Matt had started to tell her. It really was a nice view.
Leaving the building was a strange experience. Re-entering a world she had been staring down at a few moments ago. Matt was offering to buy her a meal, he was being nice.
“I’m sorry.” Holly cut him off. “Like I said, I gotta get going. But thanks, I had fun and that view was very nice.”
“Yeah.” He replied, disappointed. “Thanks Laney, good luck.”
“Goodbye Matt.” She said then turned and walked back towards the park, and her car.
