As important as Maya's family might be, you can't help but think Jess and Warren's little expedition to his house might just be the weakest link--Warren does not impress you as an incubus, which would leave a lot of the burden on Jess. Maya shrugs. "Oh, well. I'm sure we'll hook up again, stud." She blows you a kiss as you head away.

It doesn't take you long to find Jess and Warren. "Hey, I heard you might need some help fucking the kid's family," you say to the pair.

"Oh, that's so sweet," titters Jess.

"You sure you want to come along?," asks Warren. "It's not going to take long. Mom's probably zonked out on Ambien, and Ron has probably been exiled to the living room couch, if he's there. "

"That the boyfriend?" you ask.

"Yeah," Warren replies with a sneer. "He's... pretty much the generic divorce boyfriend. Right down to having his own divorce." He rolls his eyes. "He's actually tried to arrange a 'family trip' for me and his kids, who he doesn't have custody of, last month. It fell through. So yeah, Jess rocking his world is probably the best luck he's gotten in awhile." Warren shrugs. "But like I said, it's not gonna be tough."

"That's what Jess thought when she came after me," you note. "And I nearly escaped. Things don't always go the way you plan."

Warren gives a resentful nod, while Jess giggles. "Right, right," says the young incubus. "Let's go." The three of you head out together, and are soon flying to Warren's house.
