Deciding that there was no point in leaving if they were just going to hide off in another town or in the wilderness, Mǎ Fáng took his three wives to a distant sect, one of the greatest sects in the world, the Heavenly Peak Sect, known as the fifth greatest sect in the world. They sit on a large spiritual vein and have 1-3 immortals attain immortality every 300-500 years, with most cultivators dying after reaching Deity Transformation.

Faced with such a strong sect, Mǎ Fáng and his group's measly Qi Condensation stage group would only qualify to be servants or staff assisting maintenance for those living in the outer disciple districts of their sect.

Still, they had to participate in the sect test, entering a secret realm of the sect, accessible only to those under 30. Inside, the task of everyone was to collect 30 tokens, with the judges assessing them on how they got the tokens, not how fast.
