Head back; Gavin finds something

After a short poll, the group decided to head back to the cabin. It was nearly 4 O’clock when they started the return trip. Out of the corner of his eye, Gavin spotted something unusual in the clearing.

“Hold up!” He shouted to the group as he went to investigate his find.

“What’d ya find, Gav?” Zack asked.

“Bear tracks,” he stated. The group rushed to his side to see them. A short trail of about thirty prints cut out from the woods into the clearing and then disappeared back into the trees.

“Um, maybe we should go,” Victoria said nervously. “He may still be around.”

“While he may still be here, I don’t think we have anything to worry about at the moment. These tracks look to be about three or four days old,” Gavin reassured her.

“Same for the droppings,” Zack added.

“How do you guys know?” Heather asked.

“The prints are dry. They were left when the ground was wet,” Zack answered. “Hey Gavin, you thinkin’ what I’m thinking?”

“Always man, but we don’t have any plaster,” Gavin frowned.

“What’s this ‘We’ shit, white man?” Zack teased as he pulled out an old soda bottle filled with white powder, some bottled water, and two cups for mixing.

The pair picked out the five best prints and prepared the mixture. While creating their own castings, the guys showed the girls how to measure and pour the ingredients properly and let them make their own. Each person scratched their name into the center of the cast and the others scratched their names around it. After another half hour, each member of the group got their own plaster casting of a genuine bear paw print as a memento of the hike.

With that finished, the group once again grabbed their things and headed back. The decent down the hill took less time than the climb up to the clearing. Once they reached the bottom, the conversation started up again.

“So Heather, did you really ask Kurt to buy you tampons?” Zack asked, “Did you forget to bring them?”

“Nope. I’m not even on the rag right now. I asked him to get them just to fuck with him,” she responded.

“Huh?” Victoria and Chloe puzzled.

“In case you haven’t figured it out yet, girls, my cousin Kurt likes to think of himself as God’s gift to women. I asked him to get the tampons to mess up any chance of him hooking up while in town. I mean, what woman would fall for his charm when he’s got a box of vaginal inserts in his shopping cart. It just screams horny guy with a girlfriend who can’t put out right now!” Heather laughed.

“Long-distance cock-blocking! Nice,” Zack admired.

“Yup. He could go back to town tomorrow, and I’d asked him to get another box, too!” the brunette added.

After a few rounds of laughter at the absent Kurt’s expense, the teens made their way down passed the homes they passed earlier. Mr. Johnson’s black lab stuck his head up over the railing when he caught Heather’s scent again. Luckily for the girl, he was safely locked behind a gate.

“Hey Heather, your boyfriend’s looking for you,” Zack teased.

“Hey boys! You two get some ass on your hike?” The gray-haired man asked with a laugh.

“Ugh! I don’t know which one is hornier: Him or the dog?” Heather gagged.

“Well, the old man didn’t try to hump your leg,” Zack informed her. Heather gave him a playful slap to his shoulder.

The group hurried past the beach towards their own cabin. While the hike out took several hours, the return one only took two. As they stepped to the door, Heather rang the doorbell.

“Courtesy ring,” she told her friends.

“Why? It’s YOUR cabin,” Chloe told her.

“Yeah, and Brandon and Ashley have been here by themselves, for almost seven hours,” she reminded her friends,” Who know what they've been doing.”
