He greets the new neighbors

Zander had an uneventful morning for being the protagonist of an anime. Aside from his father's poor voice acting and his sister looking like she was 20 instead of 16 he was all set to start the day. Prom was still on his mind, but being a protagonist he knew it would sort itself out some how.

Outside he could hear moving trucks and saw that there were people moving into the suprisingly convienent empty house that was next to his. Buff movers we're bringing in various furniture and what appeared to be several book cases. The family was no where to be seen as far as he could tell.

"Look out!" a girl riding a bike rammed into him. He went flying several feet slamming against a concrete wall.

"I'm so sorry," said the girl as she helped him out of his indentation in the wall.

"It's no worry," said Zander, no worse for wear from such a collision. "My name is Zander. And you are..."

Looking up he met her eyes, one blue and the other green. Her hair was shoulder length bright blue. Her frame was hidden beneath a loose fitting sailor fuku that Zander knew was Jefferson High Schools.

"Hiya!" the girl said, "I'm Emi. My blood type is O positive. And I come from Japan."

"That's a bit more than I asked for," said Zander.

"My family has sent me to America to finish my senior year," she continued ignoring his lampshade hanging.

"Hey! I think we are from the same school. Would you like me to show you around?"

"Sure!"

The two of them began walking down the street towards the park. Emo had a bunch of stories about her parents and was a chatterbox. By the time they reached the Shinto shrine in the park she was all alone and in need of guidance. Because she arrived so late in the school year to graduate she didn't have a date for prom either.

"Prom is the premier event of seniors in America. I can't believe you aren't going."

"I hadn't thought about it really," said Emi, rounding on Zander. "What about you? Are you seeing anyone?"

"Uh-" stammered Zander.

A lightning bolt struck between them. Zander was blasted onto his back while Emi managed to just get pushed back 20 feet no worse for wear.

"Ah, if it isn't Legendary Sorceress Emi!" Said a voice up above. The creature had the face of a turtle and spikes protruding from its long green arms.

"A kappa!" Yelled Emi, "How did you find me?"

"My mistress, the Great Seductress Lilith knows all! You will not escape me."

"We shall see," Emi pulled out a scroll from out of no where. She begun a transformation sequence as her sailor fuku was ripped from her body. Her naked form was much more toned and slim; her breasts at least C's. As soon as he saw it Zander was treated to ribbons of silk wrapping around her form. They burst off forming a dark blue dress with intricate runes embroidered in gold lettering. The dress was stylized like a stereotypical sorceress costume, but with a short skirt. A circlet formed around her head with a purple gem embedded in it. Her blue hair grew to her lower back.

She stood Ina victory pose as a magical staff arose from an open book on the ground. "By all that is good, your ass is grass Kappa!"

"Ah not the Staff of Cosmic Power," yelled the Kappa as it clung to a nearby tree. "I thought it was only myth!"

"Think again jerkwad," Emi channeled mystic energies across the staff erupting in stream of blue fire. The Kappa was engulfed.

"Ah! My mistress I've failed you."

Zander pushed himself up in shock. "How could Emi be a Legendary Sorceress?" Then he slapped himself in the head, "Of course, I'm in a magic girl anime, duh."

Emi powered down her Legendary Sorceress form to return her hair and test of her body back to normal. Her sailor fuku returned as well.

"You are bleeding," said Emi, pointing to Zander's nose.

"Uh," said Zander, making sure to wait for his boner to shrink back down before standing up, "I hit it when I fell on the ground."
