Izuku puts the ring in his bag as the teacher walks in. To izuku this signals the start of his daily hell, his day starts like normal; get laughed at during class, get tripped and pushed walking in the halls, more bullying in class. As the bell rings signaling his favourite time of the day, Lunch. A time he gets to himself to think and relax alone, this is where we find izuku now on the roof of the school eating his lunch the ring on his finger. "Why do I have to be quirkless..." He said to himself not noticing the ring shine green for a fraction of a second.
