Zack walked out of the water and made his way to the dock, plopping down beside Chloe.

"Nice of you two to join us," he smiled.

"I couldn't miss it, Brandon's car was like a furnace," Victoria chuckled.

Ashley laughed. "I won't tell him you said that," she said. "You'd never hear the end of it, trust me."

Zack raised an eyebrow. "I had no idea Brandon was so protective of his car."

The blonde cheerleader grinned. "Let's just say that not even I can say anything about his baby."

He briefly glanced at his athlete friend swimming in the lake before turning to Chloe. "You said you'd put on a swimsuit."

"And I did," the redhead smiled at him.

"No, you didn't," Zack teased her. "You just threw this big shirt over your clothes."

Chloe looked at him with an annoyed expression on her face. "Why would I do that?" she asked. "I've a red swimsuit under this shirt."

"No, you don't," Zack insisted.

Chloe sighed loudly. "Dammit, Zack," a frustrated Chloe argued before making a spur of the moment decision. "Here, see for yourself."

That said, the blue-eyed redhead pulled the neckline of her shirt wide enough for her friend to take a look. The moment Zack peered inside, the grin got wiped from his face. Two large, pale globes of flesh dotted by freckles were squeezed inside a tight red one-piece swimsuit.
