Hatelya and Ms. Furizuru create a possible fix.

You sigh deeply as you walk to your locker. You were supposed to be in Spanish class right now but got held up after your history class. You were literally almost out the classroom door when Nicole suddenly started crying and having an anxiety attack. When you and Ms. Amber ask her what's wrong, she simply points to a graduation flyer on the wall. Cathy tries to calm her down but quickly ends up breaking down and joining her. You ended up needing to cuddle your weeping girlfriends as you whispered sweet nothings in their ears until they calmed down, which took a long time.

Even though graduation is still a few months away, the approaching date is weighing heavily on all of your girlfriends, and as a result, many of them have been having similar reactions. Many of your girlfriends have been having a similar reaction, lately. Salma had one in the middle of the hallway, Paige and Lucy had one in a changing room while shopping with you, and Ms. Pershing had answering calls in her office. Literally, two days ago, Denise broke while shooting hoops outside. That led to an odd yet admittedly amusing public display of you cradling and rocking a crying taller, Amazonian-like woman on your lap.

Honestly, you kind of felt like breaking down as well, but you can't. You need to stay strong for all your girlfriends and comfort them through this heartbreaking situation.

You reach your locker when you feel a vibration from your phone. You pull it out and see a message in the group chat for you and all your girlfriends.

Hatelya: EVERYONE. TO THE SCIENCE ROOM. NOW. IT'S IMPORTANT

You raise your eyebrow a bit. Hatelya only ever types in caps when she is excited, so you wonder what's got her excited. You start heading towards the Science room, which is on the opposite side of the school. Lunch is about to start, but you aren't really hungry, so you keep walking.

"Sam."

You turn and see Chris walk up to you with a smile. It feels wonderful to see Chris again. You, of course, love all your girlfriends passionately, but Chris is also your best friend, so she has a special place in your heart and you in hers. That makes the idea of leaving each other after graduation even worse for you two.

"Hey," You say, kissing her. " You headed to the science room?"

"Yup. Come on. Let's see what the little scientist is up to," Chris replies before holding hand. The two of you continue walking towards the room.

So, it's no surprise that many of them are starting to react this way. You needed to comfort Chris, who is also upset about losing her best friend, through several breakdowns.

As soon as you reach the science room and enter, you see that most, if not all, of your girlfriends are already here, sitting at desks and talking amongst each other. They all smile at you but look just as confused as you are. Standing in front of the class are Hatelya and Ms. Furizuru, excitedly discussing something. Hatelya sees you and immediately drags you to the front with them. Chris goes and finds a seat at a nearby desk.

"Ladies! Can we have your attention, please?!" Olivia calls out as if she is instructing her regular class. The room falls silent.

"Thank you. I'm sure everyone here is aware of the approaching dreaded date," Olivia starts. All of your girlfriends had on a sour look and glared at her for reminding them. Olivia ignores them and continues, " Well, we have good news. Hatelya and I have been working and have finally come up with a way for all of us to stay together with Sam. "

You and all of the ladies straightened up for this with your eyes wide open. All of you have been trying to find a way for all of you to say together. Living out of a giant R.V. Running away and living off the land. None of the ideas seemed possible. So to hear there is a possible fix gives you all hope.

"You two found a solution? How?" You ask.

"Long hours of research and developing," Hatelya says proudly " But it was worth it, my love. We have finally created it."
