Hatelya then holds up a device that's in her hands. It was a glove with a small screen device, some small tubes of blue liquid, batteries, a mini keyboard, and several wires connecting everything. It looks a cross between a Powerglove and a homemade pip-boy. Whatever it is, it confused everyone in the room.

"What is that?" Alice asks.

" This is something that will win me and Ms. Furizuru the noble peace prize. Something that changes our understanding of science. Something that will change the world. But most importantly, this will allow use to stay with Sam, our wonderful boyfriend," Hatelya announces excitedly. " This is the first ever Quantum Spatial Displacement Apparatus. The first ever teleportation device."

There was silence in the room for a few seconds, which was then broken by a large collective groan. Admittedly, you were one of them. Hatelya and Olivia are both smart scientists. But a teleporter? That's impossible.

"Seriously?! You interrupt lunch, give us hope, and then give us this bullshit," Ava spats out acidly.

"Bullshit?" Hatelya questions. Her smiley face turning into one of indignation. "What do you mean bullshit?"

" There is no way you made a teleportation device. That's impossible. No way," Rebecca scoffs.

" It's true. We did do it," Hatelya replies offended.

" Ava's right. This is bullshit, and you're full of it, bitch." Dana retorts.

Hatelya's faces turns red with anger and looks like she is about to try to jump Dana. Knowing how that will probably end for her, you prepare to intervene. Before you do, though, Olivia places a hand on Hatelya's shoulder to calm her and face everyone.

"Ladies. I know this is a hard thing to believe. Quite frankly, I didn't believe it for a while, even though Hatelya and I invented. But it is true. This is a teleporter, and it does work. We won't be announcing this to all of you if we weren't sure it works," Olivia explains, trying to calm everyone. " Now, let's prove to you this works. How about we give you a demonstration?"
