The ladies murmured before finally agreeing on Hard Mode. Peggy smiled as she pulled out the handful of pyramid shaped D4. “And it looks like there is an extra rule. You may draw an extra, random card to add an extra die for your turn.” “So who’s first?” Peggy asked with a smile. Holly shot her hand up, like an overly excited school girl. “I’ll start!”

She took the die and tossed it on the board. The die spun and rolled before settling in a 1. She slid her token up the board, settling in a red space. Holly drew a red card and read it over, “You are oh so cheerful, your thoughts bright, happy and pure. But now have some fun, let your imagination run, thoughts erotic, blue and impure.” She looked the card over, confused, and then the card burst into flames, immolating like flash paper.

The ladies all gasped as the card evaporated. It was early but several bottles of wine had already been emptied. The collective alcoholic buzz was enough to not let anyone ask further questions about why Holly’s face suddenly blushed red, or why she was trying hard not to stare at Jo’s deep cleavage, or Peggy’s bare thighs.
