Hades v Aphrodite

A tall man wearing a crown of skulls walks in. Aphrodite looks over to him, "oh hi Hades, how's things?" Hades frowns, then turns to sit in the prosecution chair. The judge looks at Hades curiously, "don't you normally have your lawyer with you, Hades?" "I don't need a lawyer when dealing with Aphrodite - I have more respect for her than that. My dislike for her is separate." Hearing this, you see Aphrodite's lip turn into a slight pout. Seeing that both defense and prosecution have settled, the judge states, "very well, let us proceed."

"Today's case is on the matter of who this cleric next to me is truly dedicated to, as evidence has been brought forth by the prosecution as to question their loyalties to the defense. The prosecution will be the somber Hades and the defense will be the impulsive Aphrodite." She gives a pause, as if waiting for anyone to say or react with anything.

"Per agreements dating back millenia between the two here today, this trial will occur over the course of five rounds. The first will be on the matter of kingship, the second on the matter of methodology, the third on the matter of fidelity, the fourth on the matter of mastery, and the fifth on the matter of the self." After a short pause, she continues, "let the trial begin." You feel yourself subjected to a truth spell, and find yourself unable to resist its effects. Whatever you state, it must be the truth.

Hades rises, and approaches you. "Cecillia, kingdoms rise and fall by various methods. The largest thing which separates them: the king. Should a tyrant threaten to rise with overwhelming ****, is it better should you have a high position of power to form your own kingdom, with card games and ukulele, or to take a stand against them within their own kingdom?"

Hades turns and walks towards his seat. "That concludes round one. Let us proceed to round two." Aphrodite stands and sways her way over to you. The man in charge of suggesting laws seems in your analysis to be resolute but not incorruptible; however, money seems to have no import for him. In this scenario, would you estimate that seducing him in order to gain leverage over him would be the best course of action, or would a more up-front but slower course of action be better?"

Hades is ordered to surrender all current claim to his cleric.{endif} All parties may return at once." And with that, she returns to weaving. Both Aphrodite and Hades vanish from the court, although you feel that things have changed surrounding you.
