Noriko: Bubbly, busty, brown-haired Noriko is the daughter of a famous captain, she followed in his foot-steps and became on of the pilots for the mighty Gunbuster.

Kazumi: Sophisicated, mature, but with a sensitive side. She is Noriko's 'Big Sisster' and has trained to be the other pilot of Gunbuster.

****-Freud: Named after the famous psychologist. This red-headed spitfire competes with everyone in her quest to be one of the Top Squadren. She once piloted the Gunbuster with Noriko while Kazumi was away.
