Guessing

As he washed himself in the shower, he wondered if Cindy would storm through the doors, ready to rock his world again. When he sat at her table and she placed bacon and eggs in front of him, he considered the possibility of her coming under the table to blow him, or leaving him to go to another concubine of hers. Instead, she just sat across the table, her signature sinful look on her face. The look that kept his brain guessing and his heart pounding.

"How do you feel about the Carter Trail?"

"You wanna go for a walk?"

"Yeah, I'm kind of in the mood for one."

"Sure."

"After that you can take me to dinner? How does that sound?"

"Depends what we do after?"

"Well, you treat me, I'll treat you." Her foot grazed his leg as she bit her lip.

"Sounds fair." Spencer considered asking Cindy what she may have in mind, but that'd deny him the guessing game that he liked to play. Would she sneak off with him on the Carter Trail? Or would she make him wait until after dinner? Maybe she'll sneak in the bathroom like that time in McClaren's? The possibilities were endless, and would keep Spencer guessing right up until Cindy gave him the answers.
