Chapter 3 by Pipelqu@ Pipelqu@

¿how the attack next?

Group 2: communications tower

Most of the lights in the inner courtyard of the castle had been extinguished by a mysterious blizzard generated by Sigurd only seconds ago. To the creatures invading Rose's sacred territories, that was a sign that the walls had been successfully attacked and captured. Now the other groups had to carry out the rest of the attack plan.

As planned, two groups of 20 wolves each rushed to the temple, approaching one from the left wing and the other from the right wing. They all advanced in unison through the darkest and least guarded areas they knew.

Due to the ceremony that was taking place inside that fortress, the doors were closed and could not be opened from the outside.

But Fenrrir's descendants already knew this. Thanks to their leader Sigurd, the wolves knew almost everything that happened, is happening and will happen tonight.

Anyway, when they were close enough the wolves jumped towards the walls, reaching a height of almost 4 meters before digging their claws into that exotic white stone of the temple.

Without missing a beat, they all began to climb at great speed up the walls, using any ledge, handrail or irregularity they could use to climb more easily, even opting to dig their own claws hand and foot into the stone if necessary.

By the time they reached the height of the third floor, a large number of werewolves used windows, balconies and any available entrance to the temple. Only a small group of five werewolves kept climbing without stopping, with an apparent intention to reach the top.

without slowing down, in less than 2 minutes, the 5 wolves had reached the highest point of the fortification, specifically a tower that stood in the central part of the temple. a tower that will be at least 20 meters in diameter and perhaps 3 stories high. it was similar to the space of a large house.

The Sons of Fenrrir surrounded that structure and stood each one at a window.

The captain of that squadron, a wolf woman with dark gray fur, kept herself hidden behind the wall and observed the interior of the tower. There she found a moderately lit place, with papers and envelopes placed on different shelves and various wooden boxes around most of the place. Surely they were supplies and things like that that were waiting to be put away and organized.

Beyond that, the she-wolf noticed the people inside. Just by the clothes everyone was wearing, the she-wolf could count 3 armed guards and 2 courier operators, just as they expected. but something she didn't expect was to see more people who shouldn't be there.

"tsk" the squad leader clicked her tongue at the sight of a Rose mage along with what appeared to be two apprentices.

Within that group of humans, stood a tall woman with bright orange hair and large G-cup boobs. She was wearing a full-length tunic that ended near her ankles, leaving her bare feet exposed, and sleeves with lengthwise slashes that reached to just before her wrists. Her clothes, like the other red bitches (as some of Fenrrir's supporters called them) were of a red color, but highlighted by a vertical white line in the back that went from her neck, running along her back, passing by her huge backside and reaching the bottom hem of the tunic, and if that wasn't enough, all this outfit was decorated with beautiful golden embroideries.

Perhaps they were really made with gold threads.

In addition, the woman was also characterized by some tattoos that could be seen in the few spaces of her arms and legs.

Next to her were two other girls, who appeared to be young apprentices. Both wore similar clothes, but these were white with light blue details. They were nothing more than novice mages who were at most level 1 or 2.

"What are we doing Luperca?" next to her, the Luperca heard the question from one of her men near her, "We weren't expecting a high level mage" she said as she pointed with a nod of her head to that woman.

"Shut up for a second will you" said the leader as she thought about what to do. She looked down and briefly saw the light signal confirming that the north gate had been successfully captured and opened. "Rackan" Luperca spoke to the wolf at her side. "We will deal with that whore in the same way as we did at Lidium Ridge."

The one called Rackan raised his eyebrow in incomprehension, then looked back at the mage and especially at those young apprentices "ah " a smile broke out on his face accompanied by a short laugh. "Sure, just like in Lidium."

"hahaha, that's enough guys" said a girl from the courier operators in an amused tone as she carried another bottle of wine to her friends "Stop bothering them".

"Oh come on, don't make yourself that you don't want to hear Miss Angela talk about her hunts" said one of their fellow courier operators as he shook his glass with liquor and used it to point at the aforementioned red robed woman.

"What's the use of her telling you these things if you're too drunk to remember them later?" one of the guards now taunted the drunken messenger.

"But I'm not that drunk Mark," protested the messenger to the person on his right.

"I'm Kali" said a black-haired, white-robed girl squeezing the messenger's cheeks in a grip between her fingers and the thumb of one hand and then turning the guy's head in another direction "Mark is over there." He told him as the drunken messenger tried to adjust his eyesight and stop seeing triple.

A chuckle from the 9 people filled the room.

"haha, for things like this I'd rather come here to unwind" said one woman as she tucked an orange strand of her hair behind her ear.

this made her voluminous breasts jiggle with movements that did not go unnoticed by the men in the room. if none of them were beholden to the goddess and knew that the wizard Angela was one of the red hoods, what they would give to be able to get their hands on those big, firm tits.

"Hey! Stop looking at her like that, you're disgusting!" said one of the messenger girls who had brought one of the bottles, elbowing her companion, which triggered more laughter

As the laughter slowly died down, one of the blonde, white-robed girls approached the red-robed woman.

"Lady Angela" spoke the blonde in a shy voice to her superior, "is it really not necessary for us to be in the great hall for the initiation ceremony?"

"eh? no, that's okay" said the woman as she gave a comforting smile, "No one ever notices if one or two members of the order are not present. No problem if we sneak out this time," she said stroking the head of the young girl, who was only sorry for being treated like a child.

"What are you getting upset for? if you were the one who followed the teacher all the way here like a lapdog" the other white-robed apprentice blurted out her sharp comment like the swords of the guards present as she drank the contents of her cup.

"Ka-Kali!" exclaimed the blonde claiming to the redhead.

"Haha. Stop bothering Isabel" said the wizard Angela in an amused tone "besides, don't forget that you came too".

The aforementioned Kali just looked away while she continued drinking her glass.

*toc* ***toc* *toc* *toc*

All the laughter and games were silenced when the sound of light tapping against the window interrupted them in their celebration.

"And that?" asked one of the guards looking in that direction with a slightly wobbly head.

"Is it a carrier pigeon?" exclaimed the messenger boy approaching the window. Sometimes it happened that at night the messenger birds would chirp the sales where they see light, instead of going to the messenger room as they were supposed to.

The guy opened the window inward and looked around in the dark night for the supposed pigeon. He found no pigeons, but a nice night breeze that felt pretty good when the wind caressed his face.

"!!!" then the guy at the window twitched in a loud, brief spasm before not moving at all.

"hey Nick, are you okay?" asked the messenger girl to her partner, who gave her no answer.

One of the guards approached with a slightly clumsy step thanks to the **** in his body. "What's the matter?" he asked amused as he shook the body of the aforementioned Nick, but when he touched him the young messenger boy slumped against the window like a rag doll, "Hey, what's wrong with you?" the man looked at him and leaned out of the store in alarm. "!!!!" a glimpse of a large amount of blood staining the outside of the wall below Nick's body caused the man's eyes to widen like saucers "he-" before he had a chance to make any warning sound, he was silenced by the impact of a sudden blow from under his jaw which was accompanied by a metal blade that in less than a second had stabbed the man under the jaw, piercing the tongue and most likely reaching the area of the brain. it was evident that the man died, without noticing at any moment the wolf that was hiding in the darkness at the side of the window and to whom the dagger that was now stained with blood belonged.

instead of withdrawing the man's weapon, the lycanthrope tightened his grip on the handle of his knife and caused the humans to watch in shock and horror as the guard was lifted off the ground while a wolf with mostly black fur lightened on the front of his body. The creature calmly entered through the window as it looked directly at the mage and the others.

"A wolf?" said Angela rhetorically looking at the humanoid creature in front of her "all indications are yes but..." the confused mage's thoughts were running wild in her head. from years of study, lessons and hunting experience, Angela knew that Rose's wolf enemies were practically conventional wolves, only being distinguished by their huge horse-like size, strength greater than 3 bears and ferocious bloodlust.

But this creature that had just killed two people in front of her eyes was nothing like what she knew.

Standing on 2 back legs like a person, wearing leather armor and even using something like a dagger. She could feel his gaze resting on each one present, examining them and in a way sizing them up.

The one in front of her was not at all like anything she had ever seen in her life, and just because it was something she had never seen before, Angela was worried.

The second was a brown wolf that was also armed and in light leather armor.

"Miss Angela, those things are..." asked the fearful blonde apprentice, looking fearfully at the creature "... are they the feared sons of fenrir?" she asked with disbelief and fear in her words.

Angela did not answer, in her mind she could find no record of anything like them. But that was the most logical assumption given the situation that explained these wolves.

"Get behind me!" ordered Rose's mage as she regained her composure, raising her arms in a signal to the girls to step back "I will face these creatures, you two protect the girls, stick to the wall and watch for their movements" the mage's orders were clear.

She may have never met enemies like these, but she was still an experienced hunter. Having killed various creatures of the dark gods that remained in the world, whether they were swallows, ogres, harpies or descendants of fenrir (at least the ones she knew) she had already slain hundreds of enemies and survived. she was even fortunate enough to possess a modicum of experience leading teams.

If the two remaining guards stayed alert and formed a perimeter around the girls (who had no combat experience) while staying as far away as possible, Angela wouldn't have to worry about their protection and could concentrate solely on fighting.

"Looks like Rose's pet wants to take us on alone" commented the wolf with an amused tone, to which his furry companion replied with a short laugh.

Angela was unable to hide her expression of astonishment.

They spoke.

Those beasts communicated in the same language that was used in all the kingdoms.

That was something inconceivable... What kind of creatures were these? infiltrating the temple, using weapons and fairly complete equipment, acting cautiously as they examined her and the others before making a move and now even talking.

"this is bad" Thought the orange haired woman, moving her arm to pull on the hood of her tunic without ever losing sight of the two creatures.

"Oh~, flammas Freya, vocate. Da mihi lucem tuam purificando" (in Latin its means: oh~, flames of Freya, heed my call. Lend me your purifying light)

reciting a kind of chant an energy began to flood the place and gather around the woman. Some of her tattoos on her body along with the embroidery on her clothing began to glow in a reddish-golden light as her hands became engulfed in fire, but apparently did not hurt her and emanated an aura that the wolves sensed as dangerous.

The black and brown wolf tensed as they watched a Rose mage manifest her power. If the information they had was correct, the tattoos and embroidery signified a high rank, which translated to experience and power.

Even so, they knew they had to act according to plan, so even with their fur standing on end they stood on guard.

The tension between the humans and the Sons of fenrrir was almost palpable, both sides waiting to see who would make the first move.

It was thanks to her training and experience that Angela was unaffected by the pressure of the moment, but the guards and the girls in the back were not counting on it. the smell of the terrified sweat was a fragrance that the two lycanthropes could smell without problems. Peering over Rose's mage the black furred wolf watched the fearful women being <<guarded>> by the two remaining males with their blades drawn "heh" farfarfarullo as he saw them tremble.

and that simple action triggered the beginning of the combat.

In one swift movement, the mage stretched out her left arm and pointed at the open window with her index and middle fingers. "mitterent tuum flammae et explodere" (in Latin its means: shoot your flame and explode) as she whispered those words a fireball shot out of her fingers and outward in less than a second.

*BOOM* the fireball exploded outside.

The two wolves watched in disbelief as the attack flew past them, but instead of stopping to think, they realized that they too had to do something.

With astonishing speed, the two canines ran separately in opposite directions, but with the apparent intention of cutting the distance by circling the mage and attacking from both flanks.

Angela surmised this and instead of waiting in a defensive position, she was more proactive by focusing first on the brown wolf on her right.

Consenting flames in her right arm, the mage recited "amplecti et urere inimicum meum"(in Latin its means: embrace and burn my enemy) and then spat a flare of fire at the creature, but it managed to leap aside to avoid the blow that passed by.

But unable to relax, the brown wolf saw how the flame made a U-turn and came back at him.

With a quick reaction, he grabbed one of the many wooden boxes nearby and hurled it at the fiery attack.

the wood that took the hit was caught in the fire of the spell. the wolf saw the object being surrounded by flames until it was charred, showing for a few seconds the books inside.

Without saying a chant Angela moved her body from right to left, summoning a curtain of fire that moved forward, forcing the brown wolf to move away from her and retreat backwards.

Confident that her attack would drive the evil Fenrir's offspring away, the woman returned to see the black-furred being who had come too close.

Angela had to lean to the side, narrowly dodging being torn apart by the creature's large, sharp claws. the attack passed so close to her that Angela could see the wolf's yellow eyes with perfect definition, any closer and she would have surely caught its foul breath.

Repositioning herself, Rose's mage prepared to counterattack. bringing her hands in a curving motion from the bottom up, she took a deep breath and puffed out her chest as much as she could. the tattoos that had previously glowed faded and others that had remained dull began to glow instead, only this time with a bluish light.

The mage spat an unnaturally large amount of water over the wolf, who was blinded for a few moments as part of the small stream had a great pressure that pushed him back a few steps. "You bitch" cursed Fenrrir's vassal who reflexively stepped back as he was slightly blinded by the water that had entered his eyes, not noticing that a puddle of water connected the wet animal with Rose's follower.

Slipping her bare foot into the water, Angela turned off her tattoos and at the same time extended the index and middle fingers of both hands. In one swift stroke she made them collide, creating sparks that flew on impact, subtle bolts of lightning connecting both hands and at the same time causing other markings on her body to glow bright yellow.

tensing her body and making a dry movement with the foot that was in contact with the water on the ground, rays of electricity began to surround her. These manifestations of energy began to use the water on the ground to reach the wolf, which received the full charge.

!!!UUUGHH!!!" The black furred wolf avoided screaming, instead he just gritted his teeth growling in pain as the bolts of lightning shot through his now numb body.

Unable to control his muscles properly, the lycanthrope fell forward on his knees.

managing to raise his head, he found Rose's bitch's left hand held high, palm open and fingers flexed.

Between the woman's fingertips danced violently a great quantity of lightning bolts.

With her attack ready, Angela swung her left hand down to strike the wolf's head and end its life.

But before she could connect the blow, one of the many wooden boxes of the place was flying towards her to hit her.

Reacting in time, the mage jumped back and deflected her attack from Fenrir's spawn towards the box, destroying it and causing it to disarm, spreading its contents of quills, ink and writing instruments.

At the moment of destroying the box, Rose's mage was already preparing in her other hand a spell similar to the one from before. The tactic used by the brown fur wolf was predictable, so when the ink and other things flew away, Angela stretched out her right hand and launched without hesitation her blind attack "Quod electrica inpulsa" (in Latin its means: electric shock)she whispered as a large amount of lightning flew from her hand.

The lightning was so strong that it even seemed to form a sphere of pure electricity, and perhaps so strong that the glow in his tattoos dimmed and a tired sweat trickled down his handsome face.

When the debris dissipated, Angela expected to see the lifeless body of the creature she had struck.

But great was her surprise when all she found in front of her was air.

"What?!" Thought the alarmed mage, seeing that she had been tricked. her fighting brain quickly looked to the sides to see where the attack was really coming from.

"HOUKS, BEWARE" the shout of one of the men attracted her attention.

When he turned his head to find out what was happening, he could see how one of the guards protecting the girls swung his sword against the brown fur wolf, who dodged without difficulty and then grabbed the man by the wrists, holding him and opening his large jaw to sink his fangs into his neck and tear off an important part of it.

"The distraction was to go after them" reasoned his brain in panic for the safety of the others.

Intent on any kind of spell or action, Angela moved to try anything as the others backed away from the brown wolf.

"Don't even think about it" accompanying those words that echoed behind her back, a hard squeeze hurt her ankle.

Rising up with her body still affected, the Black-furred wolf used his superhuman strength to turn around and throw the mage across the room, away from the others.

The woman's body flew about 8 meters in the air before falling and sliding across the floor for another 3 meters before crashing into the wall.

The black-furred wolf had considered killing her instead of throwing her away, but to his dismay he considered the woman to have too good an ass and tits to be wasted on a corpse.

In parallel, the one remaining guard had stepped between the beast and the girls, keeping the brown-furred wolf at bay in a struggle of his sword against the wolf's combat knife.

Just by watching his movements it was evident that this fellow was much more skilled and stronger than his dead companion. The man, with facial features that showed him to be in his late 30's, had ordered the girls to run for the exit and call for reinforcements.

to say that the fight was evenly matched would be flattering him too much. the truth was that the crossfire of attacks and attacks was at a stalemate that was leaning more and more in the wolf's favor.

every forward movement made was accompanied by back 2, every attack was dodged by the thing or blocked with blunt ****. even defending himself was difficult enough to even think that some sort of counterattack was basically suicidal, and even more so when his sword cracked as it blocked his enemy's knife.

Even with the clear disadvantage he was at, he was willing to get every second possible for the young messenger girl and the 2 temple apprentices to escape.

*CRASH*

Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your point of view) the last thing the man heard was the sound of the window to his right breaking. He was not even aware when a third wolf with reddish fur and green eyes had killed him with a surprise attack when he entered.

*CRASH*

the sound of another window shattering echoed, along with the panicked scream of young girls.

In the midst of their flight, a fourth wolf in full-breasted leather armor came through the window in front of them, cutting them off.

They by sheer luck had the reflexes to turn and (in an act of bravery or desperation) flee to the center of the room where only a numb and injured black-furred wolf was standing.

But unfortunately the messenger girl was not so lucky, as the large hand of the incoming wolf managed to grab her by the hair and pulled her towards him to cover her mouth with another hand.

The difference in height between the two was remarkable, enough for the girl to struggle and kick to escape, but she only managed to touch the ground with the toe of her boots.

"Stay still, otherwise my hand might slip and cause an accident" suggested the werewolf holding her, shifting his grip from her mouth to her throat.

Stopping as she understood the threat, the little messenger woman began to back down from her struggle as she trembled. The sobbing tears, the trembling of her terrified body and erratic breathing were all that kept her moving.

At the same time that the messenger woman was caught the two novices had reached the center of the room, where the black wolf with whom their teacher was fighting was located.

As they ran, the young blonde girl looked in the direction where she had last seen her teacher, and a thought crossed her mind "wa-wait, Kali... we can't leave the teacher" she said. we can't leave the teacher," she said with bated breath. the red-haired girl named Kali turned a deaf ear and ran faster toward the exit.

dangerously close, the black-furred creature was on his knees breathing heavily, still wounded from his fight with the mage Angela. still, he looked up and locked his eyes on both girls who noticed that.

Intending to chase them, he started to get up, but before he took the first step, a flare of fire came from the left and cut him off.

They all looked in the direction where it came from, finding the figure of the mage Angela, who was leaning on one of the boxes of the place with some blood running down the back of her face.

"Lady Angela!" said the blonde girl with surprise and relief at seeing her teacher alive.

The mage hurried to run as fast as she could to where her two students were, interposing herself between them and Fenrrir's beasts.

The novice Kali was glad to see that her teacher was all right, that meant that they still had a chance to get out of this trouble alive. But that calmness began to waver when she took a closer look at the mage's condition. She was breathing heavily, she was staggering a bit without seeming able to stand up straight and she had left a trail of blood drops when she went to them.

Angela was aware of her condition. She had relied on her experience and knowledge, she had underestimated these things and had paid the price.

One with brown fur was moving on her right, another one with leather armor was walking on her left still trapping the messenger girl who was begging for help with her eyes, and finally 2 of them, the one with black and reddish fur, were standing in front of her. The only way out of the place was the door behind her back, but trying to get out meant that they would be overwhelmed by the wolves and she, the girls, or maybe all 3 would end up dead in the attempt.

They had her surrounded, no easy escape, with a hostage on her hands and in her state she couldn't win... not if she had to protect the girls "surgite muros ignis" (in Latin its means: Rise up, walls of fire) she said aloud just as a C-shaped wall of fire rose out of nowhere, separating the women from the wolves. "GO NOW" the woman ordered. You could say that Angela was leaving the messenger to her fate, but the order had taught her that there are times when sacrifices must be made.

"b-but teacher" said the bewildered blonde, as she was pulled by the black-haired woman towards the exit. "I RETAIN YOU, YOU ESCAPE AND GO TO THE TEMPLE" ordered the woman as she held her arms outstretched in front of her. "QUICK, DON'T WASTE TIME-"

lenced as a dark gray furred figure fell from above, slamming the woman's head into the floor.

Angela's body lost all its strength and likewise the flames she held were extinguished as if they had run out of the fuel that sustained them, leaving only a scorch mark on the floor.

"You took your time captain" commented the brown fur wolf, seeing that Luperca had finally taken action.

"I was going to watch from the roof and let it play out, but it was obvious that this was getting out of hand," she commented in a joking tone as she shrugged her shoulders.

While Luperca's men relaxed that they had neutralized the only threat, the two girls watched the scene in bewilderment, as if a bucket of cold water had been poured over them.

They wondered, at what point did a joyful and discreet celebration end in this? with the **** of 3 people, being cornered by Fenrrir creatures and with their teacher defeated on the ground with the paw of one of those creatures on her head with total tranquility.

"Stop complaining, catch those girls so they have fun and don't bother me for the rest of the night" said the gray fur wolf as she removed her foot from Angela and walked towards one of the windows that pointed to the north.

The wolves laughed with laughter at that command, replying with a casual "sure" as if they were simply being asked a favor.

The two young women were still shocked by the situation, barely reacting by the time the wolves began to surround them.

Stupefied, they both watched helplessly as the three of the creatures confidently approached them. "De-de-dea Lucius..." the light, brittle voice of the novice Elizabeth began to recite something in a whisper as she tried not to panic. it was difficult to determine if what she was saying was an incantation to try to fight or simply a prayer to ask her goddess to save her.

"Dea lucis ... da nobis radios tuos. Illumina nos et expelle tenebras" (in Latin its means: Goddess of light ... give us your rays. Enlighten us and drive out the darkness) she raised both hands forward as she backed away from Fenrrir's decendency. If what the blonde chicha was trying to do was some kind of confusion maneuver, then she was doing it perfectly. The very creatures she was aiming at only raised confused eyebrows while not erasing their mocking smiles.

"What's that supposed to do?" the brown-furred lycanthrope asked with a chuckle when nothing happened.

Isabel lowered her gaze between her hands, confirming that there was nothing there but her trembling, sweaty hands. "Dea lucis, da nobis radios tuos. Illumina nos et expelle tenebras" she recited again, sounding more upset than before.

"Dea lucis, da nobis radios tuos. Illumina nos et expelle tenebras", nothing was happening yet.

"Dea lucis, da nobis radios tuos. Illumina nos et expelle tenebras."

"Dea lucis, da nobis radios tuos. Illumina nos et expelle tenebras" the wolves were only getting closer.

"Illumina nos et expelle tenebras, Illumina nos et expelle tenebras, Illumina nos et expelle tenebras, Illumina nos et expelle tenebras, Illumina nos et expelle tenebras" each time he repeated that phrase his voice filled with more and more desperation.

*BANG!

the cycle of words stopped with a loud thud behind her, a sound similar to a door slamming shut.

Slowly turning her head, Isabel turned back to find herself alone and without Kali.

"Damn girl" was what the blonde novice heard one of Fenrrir's sons say before a bush of black fur rushed past her, and she hurried out of the room

"De...dea..... Lucis..." as if something was breaking or accepting a hard truth, the blonde girl's eyes began to fill with tears and between her hands, a thin shaft of light appeared, as bright as a candle.

The spell she was trying so desperately to cast had finally worked, but the sphere itself disintegrated when Rose's servant's hands came into contact with a hairy, hot, hard wall.

Turning to look ahead, Isabel realized that the two Wolves were on top of her, their hands were even placed on the abdomen of one of them whom Isabel had to see from below because of the difference in height.

Her legs gave way.

Whether out of fear or resignation, the blonde's knees gave way and fell to the ground, leaving her face at a height below the crotches of the beasts. this did nothing but amuse the wolf god's swarmers.

"Rose... please... help this humble servant."
