Including the tips you got off the dead adventurer, you have ten, enough to get the base payment for this quest. Still, if you kill a few more you could get a nice meal, and still have your earnings. With that in mind, you keep at it, going deeper into the sewer to find more rats to kill.

By the time you’ve killed three more, you realize you don’t know what time it is. The utter darkness of the ever stretching sewer means it could be day or night, and you wouldn’t know. Just as you contemplate looking for an exit, you spot a strange movement with your low light vision. You pause, keeping your now blood covered knife ahead before you creep closer.
