Goblin

In the quiet room, the air grew charged with anticipation. James leaned forward, his eyes bright with curiosity. "What about we start with goblin, Jess? They're known for their mischief, which could make it quite interesting."

Jessica looked up with concern on her face, but she saw his enthusiasm for a goblin in his eyes. "Goblins can be unpredictable, James. Are you absolutely certain about this?"

James flashed a confident grin. "Yes, absolutely!"

Jessica was not sure about James' idea, but she was interested in trying some magic. Maybe his idea was off, but if they prepared correctly...

Jessica scanned the text, her eyes flicking across the delicate, yellowed pages. "Goblin males tend to be aggressive and unruly," she began, the soft, her voice trembling as she imagined small aggressive creatures dancing around their room, "while females are considered more... cooperative partners."

A mischievous grin played on James' lips. He sat closer to Jessica, their shoulders nearly touching, and he leaned over the book. "Well, there's an easy choice. I'll take a cooperative partner any day."

Jessica rolled her eyes, though a smile tugged at her lips. She immediately knew James would go for a female goblin, but as she saw a passion in his eyes, Jessica reluctantly agreed. "Okay, let's see what cooperative means. Maybe she can do chores in our house." Jessica replied playfully and they both had a good laugh. "But before we start summoning ritual we'll need thirteen small stones, a lot of salt and a green patch of clothing, or whatever it means..."

They quickly gathered the necessary items. They arranged stones in a precise circle, carefully outlining the summoning symbol with salt on the floor as the drawing stated. The green cloth from old Jessica's shirt, a crucial element, was placed in the center of the summoning circle.

Stepping back, they looked over their work. They dim the windows, letting only small light from candles around the circle light the room.

"This is it," James murmured, the candlelight cast their dancing shadows on the wall.

Jessica nodded, her gaze fixed on the circle. "Let's proceed." She sighed deeply, hoping they weren't making a huge mistake.

As she began to recite the incantation, the atmosphere shifted. It was as if the room held its breath, awaiting the outcome of their summoning ritual. Suddenly with a burst of magic, sparkles danced in the middle of the circle, a shadow forming inside. They exchanged a wide-eyed glance, as they spotted a appearing figure in the middle of a circle.
