Go to the town

Though tired and weary, you decide to press on until you reach town. Located far south of the village of Gutandor, Norbury used to be a minuscule hamlet that served as the farthest border of the kingdom until, for some unknown reason a wealthy Baron from the Capital relocated his entire family to the settlement and invested a fortune expanding and improving the hamlet. Now Norbury is the spark of civilization in the otherwise barbaric and untamed southern lands.

A single person traveling on their lonesome is in danger of falling prey to the multitudes of creatures and monsters that haunt the world. Even heavily armed knights would be hard pressed to defend themselves but you an untrained peasant doesn't have a chance. You still remember the close encounter with the swamp monster, if you were a little slower you shudder as to what would have happened to you. But if you could acquire help from the town you could surely reach the Druids.
