Go to the Funzone

After getting distracted for a bit i quickly left the school facility and went to the bus stop to find that everyone was gone - the bus had arrived and the boys were already on their way to the Funzone. I had to wait alone there for the bus to arrive, it took it's time but after around 7 minutes it arrived, surprisingly there was no one in the bus so i also had to ride alone for a couple of minutes before some people from the mall entered it and made me some company.

After a boring and lonely ride i arrived at the intersection of the three districts, i walked through the green district's main boulevard, looking around like usual before entering the Funzone, there i found the boys already playing - i decided to join them but first i went to explore and try to get a strategy going, i wasn't going to waste all of my points in low tier games, i had to play it smart so i looked at what Quincy was doing. I played two big games of 500 points each and luckily i managed to get 104 tokens so i still had 1000 points to use in other games, i had me refill almost guaranteed but i was a bit greedy, i went for another big game where i spent 750 points in, all of the guys stopped to see how i played - apparently it was one of the hardest games and required a lot of skill, it wasn't the most expensive but it wasn't the best game to choose because the amount of tokens that it gave you wasn't worth it, i got really nervous as i played while they stared at me, i ended up losing and getting only 5 miserable tokens.

We stopped playing for a while to go eat something and just relax, we went to one of the large tables at the sides where we sat down and talked a little. I was casually discussing game strategies with Matthew when Quincy asks out of nowhere "I heard that May was doing a sleepover with all of her girlfriends, did she invite you?" I was slurping a soda when he asked that so i just stopped drinking it while everyone stared at me, it was akward, yeah, did i want to leave at that moment, yeah but i had the balls to act cool and say "Yeah, so what? No big deal..." they all laughed at me and then Quincy said "Yeah bro, she never invites a friend to her sleepovers... she definitely has a thing for you" i thought he was just messing with me and it made sense because May is just the typical friendly person, maybe too friendly but i never thought much about her - also i wasn't that interested in her in like a romantic way, that romantic interest was on Scarlet so i said "She probably is just doing it because i'm the new guy and her newest friend... and also she was joking about me and Scarlet so maybe she is doing it to get us together" the whole topic changed from May potentially liking me to my possible relationship with Scarlet, they were all asking questions about it like "Did you kiss her?" "What did she say to you" "I saw how she was looking at you, there's something going on" "I always knew that she liked you" and Matthew's infamous question "Did you have sex with her yet?" We all stopped discussing about it and we all mocked Matthew for being such an idiot - it was funny but when we calmed down i revealed the secret "You can tell anyone, not yet... i asked her out today, we are going on a date tomorrow after school" They all cheered for me, i thought Oh is nice to have friends again before they continued teasing me about it - that Matthew question though made me think for a moment, i was wondering if sex with Scarlet could happen soon but i wasn't going to think tpo much about it.

As always Michelle appeared and then we lost Quincy, i continued playing and looked around to see how i could make 41 tokens in a 250 game - i asked both Matthew and Caleb for advice but they didn't know, i just said Fuck it and chose the first thing 250 game i found, it was really long and it had a three lives system, i lost two lives before finally winning - i got some extra score in the game because i found some secrets, i got lucky and it gave me 50 tokens, i screamed in excitement, Caleb looked at me and proudly gave me a thumbs up. I went to the shop to spend my points in a refill of my card but then i saw some cool stuff, there were some toys, merchandise and other stuff from several popular sci-fi games, movies and general geek culture. The one that caught my attention was the small key chain of an anime that Scarlet mentioned to me, it was her favorite so i took a closer look to see how much it was.

Fuck, 75 tokens... i'm screwed i thought as i saw the price tag, Matthew noticed that i wanted it so he approached me, took out his card and said to me "Hey, are you planning to buy this for Scarlet?" I nodded and then he proceeded paying for it, i was surprised by his generosity but then he said "Hey, if this gets you laid tell me about it" we both laughed, then i told him "You are a total perv but thanks!... I'll try to repay you next time we come here" We both left the shop and i grabbed my new keychain tightly, hoping that Scarlet would like it - it was really shiny and really cool so i could see her freaking out after seeing it.

After that Quincy returned to us, we all gave him a funny look after he said goodbye to Michelle, he looked at us and said "What?" We all just looked at something else and left the Funzone, we walked together to the bus stop and we all went home.
