Go to school

Tom woke up at 7am the next day. Luckily, it was Saturday so he got to sleep in. He took a shower, had breakfast, and ran errands. By the time he arrived at school, it was noon.

Contrary to popular belief, a lot of teachers work on weekends because there's always something to do. For Tom, it was a welcome distraction from his life. When he got into his classroom, he pulled out his paper grade book and a stack of homework that needed to be graded from his bag. But then he noticed the magic book from yesterday. He decided to put it on his desk for now.

Bzzzzz Bzzzzz

Tom picked up his phone and was surprised to see a text from his ex-girlfriend's sister.

SISTER: Hey Tom, are you aware that my sister is still in possession of your nudes?

TOM: What nudes?? I NEVER gave her permission to take pictures of me naked, nor did I ever send nudes. Can you delete them??

SISTER: I'll try my best, but she's already showed them to quite a few people.

TOM: Who??

SISTER: Family and a few friends, I think. I didn't know she was doing it until she asked me if I wanted to see something funny and showed them to me a few minutes ago.

TOM: WTF?!

SISTER: I've seen three, but there could be more. The first one is you sleeping naked. The second one is you in the shower. The third one is of you grading papers at the kitchen table naked.

TOM: I had no clue about the first two, but I know the third. There's only been one time where I've done work naked. Last year, she hid all of my clothes while I took a shower to prevent me from going to school. She said it was a "prank". I felt obligated to get something done while I was stuck at home that day, so I graded papers. I caught her taking my picture and told her to delete it. She said she did.

SISTER: I'll try to get her to delete them, but you know how she is. She'll probably get mad and share them with more people out of spite. Felt you should know what's going on.

TOM: Thanks for giving me a heads up.

Tom's hands shook as he dropped his phone on his desk. He couldn't believe his ex was doing this to him. Sure, she wasn't exactly nice to him towards the end of their relationship. Her comments about his body being unattractive still bothered him. But taking pictures of him naked without his knowledge and sharing them with people wasn't something he thought she'd ever do.

What if she sent them to someone he worked with?

The thought chilled him. He'd been teaching at the same school for ten years and she knew where that was. What if a parent of a student he taught or his principal saw? What if they thought he approved of it? His ex's fun might get him fired.

That was when he noticed the magic book. He wondered if yesterday's events were just a fluke. But what if they weren't? He needed help and a reality-altering book seemed like his best bet to prevent the disaster that he was scared was coming.

NEW RULE: Teachers can't be fired or receive disciplinary action for having nude photos taken of them.

Tom put down his pen. He wasn't sure if anything changed, but he hoped he was safe. He was still shaken up. Not looking at his phone, Tom got up and left his classroom, deciding to take a short walk to hopefully clear his head.

In his distracted state, Tom left his phone unlocked and the book open.
