Go to dinner

That night at dinner, Violet seems to be missing. You ask about her not being here, and Irina replies, "oh, she does security when Faexina's giving a trial." A warlock doing security? You sure would hate to be in the shoes of someone who tries to sneak into the library on a night like tonight.

As you eat the less extravagant meal than that of your first night, albeit still a superb meal, conversation inevitably drifts to the trial, which prompts you to ask about Aaron and the letter. Giovanni chuckles, "Ah, so you've received the infamous letter test," causing you to raise an eyebrow. "She likes to use it to test whether or not someone is a threat to the security of our little group. I can't say I necessarily approve of her methods, but I have to admit their efficacy," he continues. You must look as if you've been betrayed, for Irina proceeds to ask about what she did in order to get you so downtrodden, to which you explain. Aaron pipes up, "at least Fae didn't try to convince you that your parents were in danger — she did that to a poor man one time, real bodybuilder type that she just could not stand; he was just about pouring fountains out of his eyes begging for their safety; I think Irina had to use magic in order to calm him down." Hmm, perhaps a warlock is a closer match for Faexina's security style than you had first given credit for.{if Vi trial = true} Then again, this specific warlock is a tad bit scarier than that.{endif}

Eventually, dinner winds down and you end up parting ways for the night.
