Go inside

You enter the ballroom, and you are taken back by the grandness of the event. Certainly, your aunt and uncle were much better off than your parents ever were, and your own coming of age ball paled in comparison. A glance around the room shows a large amount of well dressed men and women are scattered around talking, eating and dancing. As you continue walking, a few of the women give you approving looks.

'John! Over here!'

You turn around to see your cousin, Anne. You are instantly shocked- the annoying girl you once knew has been replaced by a stunning woman. Her white dress matches her pale skin, contrasting with her red hair. She takes after her father, you suppose, because she looks nothing like her mother. You look at her womanly body and still find it difficult to believe this is the same person you quarreled with in your youth.

'John!' she cries, as you hugs you. 'I am so glad to see you!'. Her breasts rub against you, and you feel your face redden. 'Come with me! We have much to talk about!'

You follow her and make conversation. At first, you are tense but after a few drinks you both lighten up. She laughs at your jokes, and you talk for many hours. Anne is a much more interesting woman than you gave her credit for.

The conversation ebbs in an out, and you find yourself talking politics. Anne expresses her views on the border disputes with the nearby Contane. 'They have been growing aggressive lately, stationing many of their troops by our border. The Queen isn't taking it well at all, and she shouldn't be. Nobody angers the Queen and gets away with it.' Curiosity piqued, you question her further.
