Adventure in Elirim

You have been journeying for two weeks, but you have finally arrived in the city of Elirim. The capital of the small, but proud kingdom of Qutordom, this is where you plan to spend the rest of your life.

You grew up in the small city of Loron, living with the security of a high social status but struggling for money after your father wasted his fortune on whores and reckless behaviour. Now that you have come of age, you are determined not to repeat your father’s mistakes. It has been seven long years since your last visit, but you realise that you need to seek your own fortune and will be staying with the esteemed Hawthorne family- your Aunt Maria, Uncle Bruton and cousin Anne until you are able to support yourself. Living in a city as wealthy as Elirim with your social status, you figure this shouldn’t take too long.

Upon your Aunt Maria’s request, you decided to bring your journey forward a few weeks to be in time for Anne’s coming of age ball. It is now the night before the ball, and weariness envelopes your body as you find yourself at their doorstep.
