Go for a swim

After the exhausting trip through the swamps, the cool clear water is simply too much to resist. Glancing around, you satisfy yourself that you are alone and begin stripping off your grimy clothes. Soon you are naked and leave your clothing and other possessions in a pile at the lake shore as your wade into the water, and are surprised at how warm it is! You begin to swim toward the waterfall and for the first time, forget about your quest for awhile.

You enjoy the refreshing mistiness of the waterfall as you swim, and all the other noises of the forest are drowned out by the thunder of cascading water. However, just as you reach the waterfall, you notice something moving in the woods near shore; you can't see exactly what it is, but the size and movement appeared humanoid. With a spot of panic, you glance back to the cache you left on shore, and your possessions are gone! Somebody's taken them!

Now feeling alone and very ****, you contemplate your options. You can swim back to where you started and look for your weapons (and clothes) before you're attacked. You can challenge or call out to the shadows you saw and let them know you're there, and hope that they're friendly. Or you can hope that they haven't seen you and swim under the waterfall and hide, hoping that they'll leave you alone.
