Get dressed

“I should get dressed.” Rebecca said. “Though I doubt you have any dresses around for me to wear.”

“We have some extra pants and shirts.” Benjamin replied.

“Yeah, Billy made them.” Tobias continued. “He’s pretty good at making clothes. You should let him take your measurements. He can make a new dress for you.”

Having Tobias suggest her to expose herself to Billy like this makes Rebecca blush a bit. She is not quite comfortable letting a strange guy get so familiar with her body type.

“Perhaps later.” Rebecca said. “Just some loose-fitting clothes will be fine for now.”

Billy goes off to collect some clothes. Upon returning he carries the clothes to the bathroom and the three guys allow Rebecca some time for herself.

First and foremost, Rebecca gets into the shower and gives herself a good cleaning. She hasn’t been able to bathe last night and also not even this morning. The little bath she took in the river was just to get the carnivorous plant’s digestive juices off her. This time she can actually make use of soap.

Once washed, Rebecca dries her hair and gets dressed. It is a bit weird for her to not be wearing a bra or panties under her clothes. And when she looks into the mirror, she sees a distinctly boyish version of herself looking back. It is so odd for Rebecca to see herself in something other than a dress. Mother certainly would not have approved. In the end, Rebecca was simply happy she had something to wear.

After putting on her make-up Rebecca exits the bathroom, only to find Benjamin as the sole black bee left.

“Ah, Rebecca.” Benjamin said. “Do the clothes fit alright?”

“I’m sorry, but I’m afraid my hips are a bit too wide for these pants. I need to keep to top button open.” Rebecca apologized. “Where are the others?”

“When we found you, we were in the process of collecting some nectar and pollen.” Benjamin explained. “We had to leave out containers out there to carry you so Tobias went to collect them. Billy instead went to see if he could find some materials to make a dress for you.”

Rebecca didn’t even know they abandoned the nectar they gathered for her. She hoped Tobias could find it back untouched. And for Billy to already gather materials to make clothes for her so shortly after meeting her. That is so cute of him.

Rebecca then joins Benjamin in the kitchen and helps him prepare food for when Tobias and Billy return. Tobias comes back first. Unfortunately, their containers were already empty when he got back to them.

“It’s fine.” Tobias replies. “We have some stored up that we haven’t been able to turn into honey yet.”

Shortly after, Billy returns as well, carrying a petal from of a white orchid. White is … not quite Rebecca’s color. But he looked so excited to make her a dress from it and she was honestly too grateful that he was willing to put in that much effort for her, she simply couldn’t say no.

After dinner, Billy wanted to take my measurements, but Rebecca asked him to let her take them herself. He did not object and instead wrote down what parts of her he all needed measured. After she gave him a note with all her measurements, he went to their little workshop to get started. Tobias and Benjamin were outside, working on another room. They said that they needed more space now with her here. Rebecca did not want to be a bother so she helped them make the wax.

When it got time to go to bed, each of the guys suggested for Rebecca to stay the night with him. They reminded her so much of her own sons and … she just couldn’t. Rebecca suggested for herself to sleep on their sofa in the living room instead.

The next morning Rebecca again helped Tobias and Benjamin with the new room. Once done, they needed to wait for the wax to settle. Though when they meet up with Billy again, Rebecca hears that her new dress is ready.
