Chapter 136

Back to the cabin, or check in with the other hikers?
Gavin and Kurt
Kurt recoiled at the glare Heather shot over her shoulder at him. What the fuck had he done? He was keeping up with the rest of them and he was carrying the stupid rucksack. What more did she want from him?!
To his left, Gavin was holding his phone up in the air, twisting it one way and then the other. Finally, relenting, he swore and stuffed his phone back into his pocket.
"No signal," he announced to no one in particular. "All these trees must be blocking the data waves. I can't even check my e-mails."
"Why are you worried about e-mails and phone signal when you're surrounded by four beautiful, nubile women?" Kurt asked, turning away from Heather's irate gaze. "I mean, shit, you're walking behind Heather and Victoria right now. How are your eyes not just glued to their asses right now?"
Gavin looked ahead and had to admit that Kurt had a point. His eyes followed up Heather's legs, toned and slender from her years of cheering, leading up to a heart shaped ass packed tight into her snug shorts. It too was well-maintained, sitting high and proud without a single jiggle as she walked.
Victoria's ass on the other hand bounced with every step. It was a little larger too, or perhaps it just seemed that way compared to her tall legs and slim waist. Even better as he remembered how soft and pillowy it felt in his hands last night as he grasped her asscheeks while he ate her pussy. He'd love to have his hands on those globes, maybe this time as that ass bounced and jiggled on his lap.
So focused was he on the hot pair of asses before him that he wasn't looking down at the trail and almost tripped on a tree root. He'd have fallen flat on his face if Kurt hadn't caught him. He felt his face flush with embarrassment as all the girls looked at him.
"Speaking of the girls, don't you think it's time you filled me in on the specificity of your plan?" Gavin said, dropping his voice to a hush.
"The specificity? Oh, the details, I get you," Kurt replied, waiting for the girls to turn their focus elsewhere. "Well, the way I see it, your problem with decision making is that you internalise it too much. You think about it so much that you can't really see what either outcome really means."
"Ooook," Gavin said, following along. "So how do you intend on manifesting these problems so they're not internal?"
"You just need a physical representation of the choice," Kurt concluded. "Thankfully the trail splits up ahead. One path leads to the caves and the other to the waterfall."
"I already know that," Gavin said, rolling his eyes. "How does that help?"
"You, Heather and Victoria will head to the caves. I'll lead Chloe and Ashley to the waterfall," Kurt explained.
"Wait, why will the groups split like that?" Gavin asked. "Won't Ashley want to go with Victoria and Heather with you guys?"
"Maybe, but it'll have to be split like that because someone with a back pack needs to go with each group, or so Heather says," Kurt said dismissively. "Now, you have two paths and two girls, one on each. To stay with Victoria, you stay on the path and go to the caves. If you want Chloe, all you have to do is say you're going for a piss or something and tell them to go on without you, then double back and come to the waterfall. Fool proof, eh?"
Gavin frowned, not convinced. "If the split in the path was your plan all along then why did I have to tell Victoria to meet me at the caves?"
"Oh, so you went with that lie then, eh?" Kurt laughed. "You didn't really, but I saw no other way of convincing Victoria to postpone your answer, and if you hadn't gotten an extension on that you would of had to give your answer back at the cabin before we left."
Gavin sighed. It didn't seem like a great plan but then maybe he felt like that because he still wasn't sure what to do. However, Kurt had steered him true thus far, so perhaps there was something to this idea of the physical split forcing him to confront the division in his mind.
"What?" Kurt asked, seeing the worry on Gavin's face. "You don't like the plan?"
"No, no," Gavin relented. "It's the best one we've got, so let's go for it."
"Right on," Kurt cheered, and punched the air, earning him another over the shoulder glare from Heather.
