Ashley and Chloe

It had been almost half an hour since they'd left the cabin Ashley Woodsen calculated by looking at the watch on her wrist. She wondered how Zack and Lisa were getting on. Were they fucking yet she wondered, the mere thought being entertained allowing images of Zack ploughing his big, thick cock into Lisa's voluptuous, natural caramel skinned body to enter her mind.

If she was being honest, she hoped that they weren't fucking. Not that she didn't want Zack to have sex with Lisa and have his own fun to make up for what she did with Kurt and now Gavin...but she hoped that Zack resisted just a little. As much of a double standard and unfair as it would be, she'd absolutely feel insulted if he jumped Lisa at the first opportunity just because he could. It was strange and dumb, but she wanted him to have his fun but she wanted him to need convincing.

Bringing up the rear was Chloe, though this wasn't because she was particularly slow or lazy. With her athletic build, if she wanted to catch up to the front she'd have been more than capable of doing so. But everyone seemed to be deep in conversation or enjoying the scenery, leaving only Ashley, who was the last person Chloe wanted to talk to.

Though, when she thought about it, she did have some questions for the blonde. And not about Zack. Well, not exactly about Zack, and certainly not about herself and Zack. Even if she still harboured some resentment and bitterness over their infidelity, she had no intention of hashing that out and ruining a perfectly good hike.

"What are you planning?" The red head asked, falling in step with Ashley.

"Huh?" Ashley looked aside at her former rival in love.

"I know you're scheming something, Ashley," Chloe said. "You forget that you stole my boyfriend out from under me. No one else might suspect anything, but I know you."

"I-I don't know what you're talking about," Ashley stammered, her eyes widening.

"Please. First, you act all friendly with me to get me to come on this hike." Chloe retorted. "Then you actively make it so that Zack has to stay home because he's injured, even though he only got punched in the face. He's totally awake and lucid enough to have come with."

"Is that all your evidence?" Ashley growled. "Or does the prosecution rest?"

"While I'm at it, I also find it highly suspect that you agreed to share a room with Lisa, and that she stayed behind," Chloe continued. "Everyone else might buy that you're being helpful or Lisa is being considerate, but I know that you're up to something."

"Oh, why do you even care?" Ashley deflected.

"Zack and I were childhood friends. He's been an Asshole with a captial A recently but that's your influence as much as it is his horiness," Chloe snapped back. "Even though we'll never be friends the way we were before, it's hard not to care for him, especially if I can see that his supposed girlfriend is up to something. Even if he deserves to be heartbroken the way he broke mine, there's still a part of me that doesn't want to see him hurt."

"And you think that's what I'm doing?" Ashley asked. "And that I've roped Lisa in on my plan to hurt him? Do you really think Lisa would do that?"

"No," Chloe admitted. "That's what I can't figure out. I've got all the pieces but I just can't guess what you're actually up to."

Ashley sighed, seeing that Chloe probably wasn't going to let the issue go. And what did it matter if Chloe knew. The deed was already done.

"Fine, I'll tell you," Ashley acquiesced. "You remember how I fucked Kurt that one time when you and Heather played that prank on Zack?"

"I remember Brandon shouting about it when he was laying into Zack before he left," Chloe twisted the knife.

"R-right. As cold as you might think I am, I do feel bad about that. It was an accident, but it did feel good and I didn't stop even when I had the chance," Ashley explained. "So, I figured I would even things up."

Chloe gasped. "Tell me you didn't."

"Yeah, I set it up so Lisa could have sex with Zack one time while we're out hiking today." It felt weird for Ashley to admit out loud that she was allowing her boyfriend to fuck his ex-girlfriend. "It's win win. Me and Zack are even and Lisa gets closure."

For a moment Chloe didn't react. Then the birdsong and whistling wind was interrupted by almighty laughter. The red headed girl was laughing so hard that she was nearly doubled over. Birds flew from the nearest trees to escape the loud amusement. Ashley balked as the rest of the group gradually slowed and looked around as well.

"You dumb bitch," Chloe wheezed through happy tears.

"Excuse me?" Ashley barked, hands on her hips.

"Lisa fucking played you. It'd be so much sweeter not to tell you, to let her do what you did to me, but fuck, I just couldn't contain myself," Chloe said, massaging her ribs.

"W-what are you talking about?" Ashley asked, worry creasing her face.

"Lisa doesn't want closure," Chloe explained gleefully. "She wants Zack back, all to herself."

"No," Ashley demanded. "You're lying."

"You wish. She told Gavin herself." Chloe said, her eyes gleaming as she turned towards the rest of the group. "Hey Gavin, didn't Lisa say that she wanted to steal Zack back?"

Ashley only had to look at the **** on Gavin's boyish, bespectacled face to know that what Chloe had been saying was true. And this changed everything. She couldn't just leave them there to screw all day. She had basically given Lisa a free window to convince her boyfriend that Lisa was better for him. And with Ashley's recent mistakes he just might be in the right mindset to be convinced.

"Shit," Ashley said, turning and running down the trail. "I have to go back to the cabin."

"You can't go alone," Heather shouted after her. "You might get lost."

"I can't fucking wait," Ashley called back.

"For fuck sake," Heather said, lamenting the loss of her hike as she started off in a sprint after her blonde friend.

Victoria, Gavin and Kurt all looked to Chloe, who still seemed pleased with herself. But it was Victoria who spoke, asking, "What was that all about?"

Chloe shrugged. "Guess she lost something at the cabin and had to go back to find it. Honestly, I don't like her chances."

The three all looked at each other, unsure exactly what Chloe's cryptic words meant given that they hadn't heard the beginning of her conversation with Ashley.

Realising that there wasn't much that could be done and that they could discuss it further on the way, Kurt moved to the front of the group.

"Well, shall we continue?"
