Field Name: Gatherer

Appearance: Gatherers are about the size of a bus, and have six bulky legs that helps them move around. They don't have a face, or a head for that matter, merely being a giant body mass with legs that have several pods on the sides of the creature. It's honestly a hard thing to picture, and it's one of the more alien creatures among the Towerlings in terms of it's appearance. It's a murky blue color up and down, and the pods on the sides are a reddish color.

Abilities: The Gatherer only really has one ability, the pods on it's sides open up and a sticky tentacle propels outward that can grab a human and pull them back into the pod. Once inside the pod, it restrains them completely, but does not infect them or do anything else that would change them, leaving them pure and stuck inside the pod until they bring the human back to the tower.

Spawn: Gatherers are odd in terms of the reproductive abilities compared to other species of Towerlings for a simple reason. They don't impregnate women, or use men for anything. Gatherers simply lay their own eggs, which hatch more Gatherers over time, but the amount they lay or the rate of growth is unknown. To our knowledge, a Matriarch fucked an infected women who gave birth to the first bunch of Gatherers, but they are presumably asexual creatures that didn't need to claim their mother, so we are unaware of what happened to the mother at that point.

Behavior: Gatherers first appeared around the time of Kirie's Recon Mission, and they have a very single minded goal. They use their cages to gather up any humans they can find, bring them back to the tower, and from there they presumably store them away or give them to whatever species they are ordered too. They are very much a utility and support unit among the Towerlings, with no combat abilities and merely serve as a clean up crew as of sorts.
