Gaming night

It was moments like these that made you wish Amelia never had her glow up moment. She was sitting right next to you, her bare thighs touching and rubbing against yours under the blanket, yet she couldn't be any further away- and that fact chewed away at your heart and made every moment of this night painful.

You had known the girl since she was five and could still remember how she looked just like one of the boys. Even when puberty struck, dating her had never crossed your mind, and you went for another classmate. She was conventionally pretty in all the ways Amelia was not.

The change was gradual. Her acne cleared up, and her stick thin body filled out with feminine curves. It was when she fixed her teeth when it suddenly hit you- Amelia had become really hot, with a lethal combination of cute and sexy.

Right now she was just wearing shorts and a tight top that did nothing to hide the hard nubs of her nipples.

"Suck it, losers!" she screamed in victory. Plural, because there was another person on the sofa. His name was Minh, and he was a transfer student from Vietnam. Sitting next to each other by chance and bonding over videogames and other nerdy topics, you became fast friends with him. Amelia also took to him quickly, though perhaps too quickly.

Watching her touch and flirt with Minh sent a twang of jealousy through you, though you quickly brush it off. You were the one who dated someone else. Though that relationship was over, you felt guilty for only becoming attracted to her after her glow up.

"Holy smokes, you're crazy at this game," Minh said. He stood up and stretched, having gamed for the past few hours. If Amelia had any feelings for him, you could easily see why - the guy was extremely tall, with a lanky and athletic build. Long hair framed a mature face with prominent cheek bones and a strong jawline. Though not conventionally handsome, he had an undeniable, unique charm and presence.

"Shit, it's three a.m. Should we sleep?" He suggested. This gaming and sleepover session was in your house, since it was the biggest and had the best gaming systems.

While your parents were away, three was still really late, so you bedrudgingly agreed with Minh.

Amelia pouted. "But we only just got started..."

"It's been six hours, Amelia. We're tired of getting beaten up by you."

After raiding the fridge for supper, you headed to your room with your two best friends in tow. All you had was a single bed, so you laid out some mattresses from storage so that everyone could sleep on the floor. Amelia jumped into the center and claimed the middle spot.

Even though she had slept over countless times since childhood, you felt more awkward around her now. It didn't help that she always went around wearing very little clothing.

"Good night stinky" you said and laid down beside her, emptying your thoughts. In the quiet of the night, you soon drift off to sleep.
