Gabby and Lucy

Each of the contestants had an apartment to split. There was one main room that was a big living space and they each had their own bedroom and bathroom.

Currently, Gabby and Lucy were glaring at each other from across their main room. Each of them wanted to get everything out in the open, but didn't know what to say.

"I guess I'll start. Mike tells me everything, which means he's told me everything you've done" said Gabby. Lucy winced at that, thinking back to everything she's done in the past.

"I know I wasn't the nicest to him, and I regret that. But things have changed now" said Lucy. Gabby's hands curled into fist.

"Yeah, I know. My mind is fucked up too. I've always felt like I was enough for him, but now I don't. Now I feel like he deserves so much more than just me" said Gabby as she fought back the tears.

"I can help with that-" said Lucy, but Gabby cut her off.

"NO, YOU DON'T DESERVE HIM. You'd hurt him" she snapped. This time, it was Lucy who cleched her fist.

"I would NEVER hurt him. The love I feel for him is the same that you feel. I've hurt him, and I hate myself for it. But I swear on my life, I will never hurt him again" said Lucy. It seemed that her words got through to Gabby.

"I love him, but he hates me. So I'll do whatever it takes to get him to forgive me" she continued as tears welled up in her eyes. Gabby, all her anger gone, spoke in a more gentle voice.

"Mike doesn't hate you. If you really give it your all, he will forgive you. But you have to prove that you deserve it" said Gabby, making Lucy smile. They sat in a comfortable silence before Lucy spoke up.

"I'm going to learn everything I can about him, so I can give him what he needs" she said.

"He's been hurt by a lot of people, myself included. I can't stand the thought of seeing it happen again" said Gabby.

"So, how did the two of you get together?" asked Lucy, making Gabby smile.

"It's a long story"
