Fuck you, Cassandra, I choose you!

“Ok, Daddy”, Cassandra said, leaning against the elevator. “Explain.”

I feigned ignorance. “What do you mean?”

“What the fuck do you think I mean? Why the fuck would you take me!”

I shrugged. “Guess I just like to see you suffer.”

For some reason Cassandra chuckled at that. “I'm looking forward to getting fucking in the ass tonight.”

The moment we stepped out of the elevator we where immediately crowded by a group of crazed fans. I probably should have seen this coming.

“Get the fuck away from us, or I blow you up!”, Cassandra shouted. “This is why I always drop out early. Fucking psychos.”

Cassandra followed that threat up by having one of her mines explode in close vicinity. That caused some of the fans to back up. Slightly. Still, it gave us just the opening we needed to quickly made our way through the throng of enthusiasts.

“We should have just stayed inside”, Cassandra complained. “This was a stupid idea. Who the fuck wants to go sightseeing in this shitty city?”

“Then why did you agree to it?”

“Not that I had a chance, everyone else was on board with this, let's throw Daddy a pity party.” Cassandra groaned. “This way.”

The huntress deftly weaved her way trough the people. She was surprisingly adept at it and I even had trouble keeping up. It paid off though, we managed to escape and found ourselves in a small space between two buildings.

“You know your way around the city?”, I asked

“Duh, grew up in that cesspit”, Cassandra said as she pulled herself up on some building.

“Are you...uh sure this isn’t trespassing?”

“Nobody is gonna complain on having the amber assassin on their roof. Increases the market value, if any. You coming?”

I did.

What followed was a veritable urban parkour. It definitely did not look like something a tournament finalist should be doing put perhaps because of this we also managed to evade any unwanted attention. “So, where do you actually want to go, Daddy?” Cassandra asked me after a while.

Good question.

“Actually”, I said, as I followed the huntress. “Since this is your city, it’s probably best to leave this up to you. Show me your favorite spots.”

Cassandra groaned at that, but this was an order, so tough luck.

It was easy to forget, but Rasheul did have to offer more then the Colosseum. There was Central Tower, seat of the government and second highest building in the Free cities. Rasheul library, a massive collection of books and tomes, the noble hill district, with its high class opulent mansions and Cathedral. And of course, Rasheul's grand market where you could buy pretty much whatever you desire from all around the continent, including, of course, slaves.

Cassandra's tour involved none of that. Instead she brought me to all kinds of random places all over the city. When we finally arrived at a riverbank somewhere in the slums of Rasheul, evening was already starting to set in.

“That's the last one, I guess.” Cassandra said, watching the lazily flowing river.

“Ok...” I didn't really want to be rude. “These where some interesting places...”

“Don't fuck with me. I know this sucks”, Cassandra grumbled. “Your own damn fault for wanting me to show you around.”

“You don’t really like this city, do you?”

Cassandra snorted. “What gave it away? It’s a garbage city, full of garbage people. You can get rich quickly though, I give it that.”

I went silent for a bit. “Cassandra”, I eventually began. “I believe it is time you tell me, about your relationship with Ojou-sama.”

Cassandra, predictably, groaned at that. “And I believe I told you to leave it alone.”

“I don't think that's an option at this point. We made an enemy out of Ojou-sama and there is no telling what she might do. I need all the information I can get.”

Cassandra let out a very long sigh. “Order me then, you will regret it though.”
