Free the Demon

She doesn't have the key- but you do.

Neither the witch nor the demon took note of your entry- the raven-haired girl is busy in her brewing, and the tentacled mass clearly has eyes only for her.

You keep to the shadows, slowly approaching the demon's lock, preparing to set it onto its captor. When you finally reach the master lock keeping all the chains intertwined, you quickly undo it without trouble.

A loud clunk can be heard as the chains fall loose to the floor- you are outside of the demon's view, but the noise has alerted the witch, who's mouth falls agape in realization of what you've done.

The demon roars in triumph, and disappears in a flash of flame. Unfortunately for you, it seems to have teleported away. You and the witch both freeze for a moment as you realize what's been done, but she comes to her senses first.

"You witless bitch! Do you have any idea what you could have done?" She roared, approaching you with stomping feet and a now bright red face. She grabs you by the collar of your robe and pulls you up, ready to pummel you, and you begin to raise your arms to block the attack.

But suddenly, another flash of flame can be seen directly behind the witch. The demon is back. You think, as she pulls back her arm to strike you, that you could have warned her to earn forgiveness, but where's the fun in that?

With a hundred times the strength she had just grabbed you with, all the tentacles of the demon envelop the woman, who is lifted off of her feet and pulled back violently. She lets out an angry, startled scream as she is pulled against the body of the beast, a tentacle now waving in her face and pouring the blue, glowing ooze. As she draws another deep breath and opens her mouth to scream curses once more, you take this as your queue to leave.

You look back once as you reach the door- the witch's snobby face was now full of desperation as her mouth had been pried as open as it can go, and stuffed with demonic meat. Her eyes were now glowing the blue of the ooze, and the glow of the color was starting to show from under her skin as she uselessly writhed about.

Eyes bulging and cheeks stuffed, her eyebrows still showed her fury as she attempted to voice curses at you- and while you will never forget the level of hate you saw in those eyes, you know you have nothing to worry about. Her mouth was far too busy to form any words.
