The Guild Rookie

Here, there be monsters.

This world is cruel, it's inhabitants wicked. Magic, it seems, gives way only to the most vile of men and monster, giving them only more power to impose their evil upon the world.

But the ray of shining hope against it all is the Guild- an elite company of expert bounty hunters and monster slayers, protecting the weak and persecuting the wicked. Their Hunters are the most revered and worshiped heroes of the lands, the last true enforcers of the light.

Only the strong survive this world, and only the strongest of the strong can find a place in the guild. You are a young woman- unremarkable, but eager in spirit and earnest in heart- and you have something to prove.

But you are not strong.

However, you are sturdy, and you have dreamed of this moment for your whole life. Now, coming of age and managing to stumble your way through training, you have been accepted into the Guild.

For a young lady like yourself to survive this job is not expected. For you to make good on a contract, even less so. Everyone has warned you that only Bad Ends await you in this world, but you are determined to give it your all.

Should you dare to face this world, the Bounty Board awaits. Each contract is for a specific evil that needs slain, and undertaking this challenge will be an adventure in itself, with many possible outcomes.
