Free the ALICE.

Without manacles or anything more, you escort the ALICE back out of Fava's lab, and said pixie follows you as well. There's someone you're seeking out, and it only takes moments to find her. Down the road a bit, you not only run into Alice, but she's speaking with two others--Yin and Ealdorman (aka Isaac Hawkins). Immediately, the old man's eyes catch yours as you approach. He stands confidently despite his age as he uses his long wooden staff to hold himself up straight, and he runs his fingers down along his waist-length grey beard while the others take longer to notice your presence.

Yin turns with confusion at first, but that's immediately replaced by excitement when she sees you coming. She skips forward happily before forcing herself back into being proper. "Welcome, Master," she says with a deep bow. "I was just about to find you. We have a guest."

"Yes you do," Ealdorman speaks quietly. "But there's no rush. I've waited many years already for events such as these, so I believe I can wait a little bit longer."

Alice, however, looks past you with concern.

Despite the awkward reunion you know is coming, you being the ALICE along with you as Fava flutters above your head. "Ealdorman. It's good to see you, but before we get into things, can I speak with my companions?"

"This is your home after all," the old man replies.

You then turn to the ALICE. "I'm sure you know already, but this here... This is Alice. She means a lot to me. When we found her, it seemed she was discarded by Elok, but she found a home here. Compared to the others I've met, she seems to have a lot more emotion, empathy, and freedom, but I'm not sure if that's something special to her, or she was the only one given the chance to think for herself. The only one separated, and left to her own devices. She is not you, and you are not her. In a strange way, all the ALICEs are more like a race. A new one, created by a madman, but that doesn't mean you need to be your master's tool."

"I--" Alice suddenly speaks up. She steps forward, hesitant but determined. "My name is Alice," she says, offering her hand.

The other ALICE just looks at it silently.

She pulls the hand back but continues. "I am sorry we hurt some of you, but we only ever did so to defend those we love. Just like Kyle said, we have to believe you are still people like me. I have to believe it." As her words continue, her monotone demeanour starts to crack, showing more emotion as she sometimes does. "I have to believe that all of you can change your minds and be more, because I do not want to live my life considering myself a tool either! We are more than just the creations of a fool."

Ealdorman observes from behind. "Interesting," he mumbles to himself.

"Hey, Yin?" you speak up.

"Master." She pinches the sides of her maid dress and curtsies.

"Can you take this ALICE to Luna's? Give her whatever she'd like to wear."

"Of course." She makes her way over to the ALICE and offers her a hand, though it isn't taken. "Follow me, please."

This leaves you and Fava alone with Ealdorman.
