Forgive and Forget

Given their nervous behavior it is quite obvious that punishment is one of the many words running through their minds but after assessing the situation, and giving a none too subtle look to the still **** thief on the floor, you can't really fault them...all that much that is. So with a calm smile and a slight chuckle you speak, "Don't worry about it, it'll take much more than that to insult me."

Your words are almost magical in the way that they instantly diffuse the tension in the room; Hinata ceases shivering and nervously poking her fingers together while Tayuya finally releases the breath that she has been holding for several very long seconds. This also gives the extra benefit of having the sassy red head round on you with a soft glare and a few rather callous words, "Fuck, don't scare me like that asshole."

You raise an eyebrow but say nothing as Hinata winces, her finger tapping returning as she turns from you to Tayuya, "Ne, T-Tayuya-chan...your language..."

Tayuya flinches slightly at Hinata's words but shrugs it off quickly, "Whatever...look, sorry about all of that shit...it's been a long fucking trip."

You pause for a moment or two before shrugging in return, your face neutral but welcoming as you speak, "As I said, it takes a lot to insult me or get me riled up so don't worry...however, I would suggest trying to cut down on the swearing ms..."

"Tayuya," The fiery red head responds with a smirk, her ruddy reddish-brown eyes glinting with mischief and something else as she speaks, "and better fuckers than your have tried to get me to stop cussing."

Hinata appears to be on the verge of a heart attack at those words, her apparent experience with the Hyuga council and their strict adherence to the rules showing in her terrified face and sudden, and slightly unexpected, nibbling of her fingers. However, seeing a rapport beginning to form between yourself and Tayuya you strengthen your smile in to a grin as you respond, "We'll see about that Ms. Tayuya. Just because it takes a lot to get me angry doesn't mean I'm any stranger to some good, old fashioned, HARD work."

Tayuya almost seems to shiver at the timber of your voice, your accentuation of the word 'hard' seeming to ring particularly strongly as it causes her to briefly and ever so slightly bite at her lower lip. However, this action is gone in a flash and instead she decides to cross her arms beneath her average sized but very perky chest before commenting with a smirk, "I think I'm going to like this fucking place."

Seeing that your piece with Tayuya has finished you turn to the only other occupant in the room, the lovely and adorable Hyuga Hinata, "Hello ms...?"

Given the shock of having Tayuya borderline insult you on multiple occasions Hinata has seemed to almost completely withdrawn into herself, that newly implemented habit of nibbling her finger in nervousness causing half of her face to be covered in her kimono's billowing sleeves thus muffling her next words to a near inaudible level. "Watashi no...Hyuga Hin...to moushi..."

Blinking a bit at the near silent words you take a few steps closer to Hinata and lean in slightly as you speak, "Excuse me? I wasn't able to catch that."

The increase in proximity causes thee very distinct and very interesting reactions in Hinata. For one her eyes grow even wider, her milk white orbs looking very much like a deer in headlights as she tries her very best to look anywhere in the room but you. Secondly, you notice her face begins to flush as a hot crimson color begins to take over her cheeks before slowly covering the rest of her face as well down her pale and slender throat. Thirdly, the nibbling of her finger grows in intensity until you are almost certain that she has begun to suck on the skin of one of them while she talks, "Watash....Hyu....masu...."

It takes every ounce of your will power not to take her into a giant hug at that very moment while simultaneously grinning like an evil idiot. Thankfully you are able to repress this urge and continue with your act by idly tilting your head and commenting, "I'm sorry, I still can't hear you." Narrowing your eyes slightly you look into Hinata's face, her body now beginning to tremble as you speak again, "Ms? Are you alright? You appear to be shaking and you seem awfully red." While seeming almost physically impossible Hinata's eyes widen once more and you decide to put the icing on the cake are you begin to reach up with a single hand, "Have you been ill lately?"

Yet, just as you are about to touch her forehead with your bare hand a sudden wind rushes by, a powerful gust strong enough to push you back and cause you to shield you eyes from the burst. As the wind clears you open your eyes to find Tayuya by Hinata's side, her eyes focused on the Hyuga princess with that could only be called the eyes of 'bitch he mine.' However, this look lasts only a second before Tayuya turns to you with what has to be the most **** nonchalance attitude you've ever seen in your life, "her name's Hyuga Hinata and we're just so fucking tired I think we're gonna turn in for the night, you know, long travel and shit. Room's upstairs? Sounds fucking perfect, night!"

With her part hastily spoken Tayuya whisks away the still blushing Hyuga princess with a few bags in tow and leaving behind a few harsh whispers of 'needing to talk' as well as one still **** burglar...not to mention one very confused and, as much as you hate to admit it, emotionally blue-balled you.
