Follow the road to the left

You walk along the hard surface for a short time, passing other roads but ignoring them. You feel a bit exposed and wonder if it's smart to be out in the open, the ease of travel may not be worth it. As you plod along the road your mood degenerates and you begin to tire. What a boring place you find yourself in. You feel that there has to be more than trees. You rest against a nearby one, feeling sorry for yourself. You hear a rumble approaching in the distance and focus your senses. You scent a creature, and as it approaches you see that the creature is inside some kind of transport made of metal and glass. It's obviously intelligent. Perhaps you can discover more about this place, as you did with the tree.

You decide to try talking to this creature; punching it to **** to absorb the information sounds fun, but you don't want to make a bad impression until you learn the lay of the land in this place. You step out into the road and wave your arms as the transport approaches, poised to leap out of the way if it doesn't slow down.

The transport squeals on the road as it swerves, crashing into a tree and leaving a burning smell hanging in the air. This was not a success.

You approach the wreck, feeling more embarrassed than guilty. You hear the creature inside, it's heart stops before you reach the transport. You smash the glass between you and the creature with ease, and press you knuckles into it's upper arm.

Instantly, your mind is flooded with an incredible deluge of information. This is a human, it is a female of the species, her name is 'Glenda Morgan'. The transport is called a car. You are on a planet called 'Earth'; which seems vaguely familiar to you. From her mind, you learn more of the area; though more feelings and impressions than definitive maps. You don't learn as much as you could as the last sparks of electricity leave her brain. You don't know how your ability works, only that being connected to something dead is horrifying.

With your new knowledge you head 20 meters into the woods and follow the road on a parallel course. You understand you are headed for a place called 'Castle Rock'. What memories you could glean before the woman died tell you there are many more people there. You have needs and they are growing. Now that you know what women are, you definitely want some. You instinctively know you can breed with these creatures, and the excitement drives you forward.
