“Of course.” Keira nodded, following him off the field toward the manor.

“It's your turn.” He smiled, hesitantly.

“So, what did you two, talk about?” she asked quizzically.

“They think my powers are triggered by anger, but we don't really know how they work yet. There are some others who have a similar trigger, and he wants me to work with them, to learn to control it.” Raph replied.

“So, you can get bigger, and stronger?” She smiled.

“As far as we can tell, but like I said, we don't know the extent of it.” He nodded. “Also, I guess I need a codename.”

“Atlas, duh.” Keira giggled.

“What, why?” He frowned.

“Cause you've always carried the weight of the world on your shoulders, and now you can grow to the size of a titan.” she teased.

“Whatever.” He smiled. “So um, I saw you use powers too.”

She sighed having seen this coming. “I should have told you, I'm sorry.”

“Why didn't you?” He asked.

“I was afraid, I've been afraid to show anyone what I can do. I think it's why my parents got rid of me.” She said looking askance.

“Wait, how long have you had them?” He asked confused.

“Since I was a child.” She shrugged.

“And you kept it hidden that long?” Her brother asked, shocked.

“I was afraid to lose you.”

“Hey!” Raph grabbed her shoulder gently. “Always together, wherever you go, I go too. Right?”

“Yeah.” She nodded, smiling softly. “So uh, while I go have the talk, go hit on the blond girl.”

“Why?” he asked curiously.

“Cause she's hot, and looking for romance, and I think you’re her type.” Keira shrugged.

“Is this a hand me down?” he asked suspiciously.

“No way, If I want her, I'll steal her back.” Keira teased.

“So bad.” He shook his head, walking toward the benches.

Heading through the manor, Keira had to ask directions to find the headmaster’s office. Alaric was sitting behind the desk, with Hope standing off to one side.

“How was the tour?” The headmaster asked.

“Good, I'm having trouble deciding which of your daughter's to fuck.” Keira smirked.

Hope covered her mouth, to prevent herself from laughing as Alaric coughed in surprise. “Yes, well, they're both adults.” He stammered.

“I've noticed.” Keira nodded.

“Okay, anyway, you appear to have control over an ice like power, but you never told your brother, why?” He asked.

Kiera looked away and frowned. “I was afraid to lose him. I was afraid of what people would do if they found out. But I'm more interested in you explaining all of this.” She gestured broadly.

“Do you remember the Rain Fall?” He asked.

“I thought they proved that was safe, but you said that wasn’t true?”

“Like I said, it took a couple years before anyone began to manifest mutations or powers.” He shrugged. “When the link was discovered, the powers of the world hid it from the general populous.”
